Written option: Every player's career is made up of a number of turning points. What would have happened if you had gone down a different path instead – like choosing a different school, playing a different position, or being drafted by a different team? Describe the moment in question and how your career would be different from how it is now!

As you say Baron (or whoever else is grading this, much love btw), there are many turning points in my career, some which I may not even be aware of. Had I gone to a different school… it is likely I never would have played football to begin with, as I most likely wouldn’t have been in the foreign exchange program that allowed me to get a chance in the first place. Had I played a different position, it is not extremely unlikely I would have still found success (unless I was a tight end). Had I been a kicker or a kick return specialist like in my early days, I still would have likely been successful even without the extra visibility. I could have very easily gone to different teams in both the DSFL or ISFL. I fell to pick 40 in the DSFL draft because no one wanted me due to character concerns, Had it not been for Norfolk, I could have easily slipped down to Norfolk’s next pick way later down the line or even to one of the last places in the class outright, which would have landed me in a very different team and thus a different story would have ensued. It is roughly the same for the ISFL draft, as I was never going to be worth anything earlier than a mid 2nd rounder at best, but I was a 3rd round or later prospect that draft. Had I not been drafted to Baltimore with pick 32, I easily could have gone to YKW who had expressed interest at pick 34. And later down the line, there was the possibility of OCO or CTC at 45 and 46 respectively. I’d say I maybe didn’t land in either of the best places for both of my drafts, as I got unlucky with Norfolk being a deep rebuild and becoming successful only after I left and Baltimore forcing me to wait 3 seasons (which would have been 4 had it not been for Sam Mercury’s trade) in order to come up. Maybe it was for the better, but I guess I'll never know
