On a serious note tho I do think that on paper this is a right and proper punishment, but should be successfully appealed because it was an honest mistake. Sets precedent for future abuses while also not really punishing the team
FWIW precedent was already set via the Portland punishment which was arguably a more malicious action. It received a fine.
It is in no way KCC’s fault this HO arbitrarily decided there is too much money in the league yet they’re being punished as though it is.
