Well when you talk about a snail race, that is definitely not true for the National Simulation Football Conference, with the Baltimore Hawks seemingly looking to run away with that conference at 9-2 with their next closest competition at 6-5. On the other hand, it is very true for the American Simulation Football Conference, where there are 3 teams at 8-3 and the San Jose Sabercats at 7-5. With only 3 out of those 4 teams making it into the playoffs, it is most definitely a snail race. I feel like the Arizona Outlaws will always have a chance at the title because of our pedigree and history, but this season our keys to success have been a good balance in our offense and our young defense stepping up! Previously we were a very run heavy team which was successful, but in the new age ISFL is is important to also have a good air attack and with three great young wide receivers and a strong offensive line, we have been able to exploit that. Our young defense has also been hungry for the ball and been blowing up opposing quarterbacks!
