As a brand new user just a few weeks ago, I do not have the greatest selection of moments since everything is so new. However, my favorite moment just happened very recently with my first game in the DSFL. Settling in to watch my inaugural live game with the London Royals, I felt a rush of excitement. My player, represented by a simple dot on the screen, was about to hit the field. Despite my anticipation, my player's performance didn't quite match up to expectations, as Rex Havoc had zero stats, no standout moments, and even incurred a penalty. But strangely, it didn't matter.
Every movement of the game had me locked in, hoping that my team could pull off the win. Despite my player's lackluster performance, the intensity of the match and the camaraderie among fellow users kept me thoroughly engaged. It was also the first game I watched live and with the commentary from the discord group which just immersed me so much more in the game. This wasn't just about my player's debut; it was about the rush of being part of something bigger – a community of great users and a fantastic league. It was a moment that made me realize just how much I enjoyed the league and left me eagerly anticipating the next game, regardless of the outcome for my player.
