As my 5th year in the league starts to come to a close, there has been a lot of challenges that have come to all of my players. I have gone through the struggles of being a DSFL manager and an ISFL manager with varying levels of success which has given me a much more in depth look at the league as a whole. Some of the greatest stories have come from those challenges that has helped me grow as a user. One story that always comes up whenever I talk to new users about the management experience is the story of the S21 DSFL draft with 271 users involved. It never ceases to amaze people how large those S20 - S23 classes were and the level of activity that those classes provided for many seasons. The draft “night” in management chat was full of rapid fire picks, sloth speed picks, and trades in hopes that we could get through that class without losing our own minds. As seasons pass, the scale of that class always grows as further Reddit classes seek to even match half of that classes size. Even today those classes stand out from the friends that I have made in the league as well as the users that improved the league over time.
