Marty Crane has had a relatively brief ISFL career so far having only been called up last year. He had spent the prior few seasons in Dallas helping the Birddogs fight hard to look like champs in the regular season only to get smoked in the playoffs by Tijuana or some other joke organization. Crane never made much of an impact in the minors at RB due to the team splitting carries for the two seasons he was in the backfield despite his great YPC. When switching to the defensive side of the ball, they slotted him in at SS where he helped the team, but the stats were far from sexy. Last year, when Chicago brass called him up, they had a clear plan for Marty: let the kid play. And play he did. Marty smacked the cover off the ball in his first year at FS registering 7 INTs among other impressive stats landing him on the First Team All Pro roster and winning the DRPY award. It was a hell of a season for the kid many had given up on and one that Marty will fondly remember his entire career.
