I joined in the S36 r/nfl recruiting class back in April 2022, and I'm glad to have found the ISFL. While the sims are fun to watch and progressing your player is as well the best part of the league is the community and people. Finding a like-minded group of people with a shared interest in football and sports in general is great. Most of my time however interacting with people in the league is in the Town of Salem server affiliated with the league. I find the games fun and we've made our own sort of culture in terms of the games, and I think the health of that server is a microcosm of why the community is great. People don't take things personally for the most part, and there's no hard feelings with stuff that happens in either the sim or the ToS server. There's been hiccups and times where this needs to be enforced, and I am glad there are people who take their time making sure this community stays great to be in, and doesn't return to that of early ISFL.
