The start of the season has been a good one for the Minnesota Grey Ducks as we cruised to a 45-6 victory in week 1. While it could be hard to find things to complain about in a 39-point win, there is still room for improvement. Jet had some lapses in coverage, as the KCC QB ended up being 5/7 for 89 yards when throwing his direction, including the only play to go for over 20 yards. This will be a learning experience for him and he should have plenty of time to get up to speed with the supporting cast he has around him. For Minnesota, the biggest challenge will be avoiding playing from behind. While the defense and running game is top in the league, they aren’t built to score through the air and could be put in a tough position if they go down early. That being said, I believe the Grey Ducks will be lifting the Ultimini trophy at the end of the season.
