Expectations were so high for the Crash coming off of Season 46. Despite not making the playoffs, the team really began to click toward the end of the season and our extremely talented defense was clear for all to see. The thought was with the addition of a few key pieces via callups and trades, we would firm up the weaknesses on offense and come out of the gate swinging. That turned out to not be the case. Through 7 games, the Crash sit (un)comfortably at 3-4 and though we aren't completely out of the playoff race we do have to rally up and come out with some key wins in the coming weeks to have a shot in this very competitive division. On a personal note, Justin Willis has simply not been performing to the standard he has set for himself. He had a true career low in week 5 with just a single tackle in a very disappointing loss. He was last seen sitting on a bench beneath a showerhead that had long since run cold, still kitted up in his jersey and pads.
