2.
My draft class of s46 is special in my own mind because it wasn't a very large one, but also because you have a small group of pretty excellent users from it - Kale, Sloth, dom, Russ, lcc and flex to name a few others. Some of us are about to enter our rookie seasons, and some others just came off their first (I bullied my way to starting as a pure rookie because I just didn't want to hang around the dsfl for any longer than i needed to - sorry Portland (Although they just won, so they wouldn't be too mad)). The group is also earning at a pretty good clip. I view myself as an absolute medium earner on this player - doing the tasks like this horrible, silly writeup for the TPE crack which we all crave and I am currently number 20 out of 29 still surviving in the class. There is a pretty big jump in tpe to the player above me as well, so the class overall is staying going and soon is going to be clicking hardcore and among the best in their positions before you know it.
Looking at the top of the class you have some very well known names - and a lot of GMs as well, so you have some guaranteed high preforming players who will likely break 1.4k TPE in their career and also go on to fight regression for a few seasons to boot - some long tenured high ceiling players who is basically every GMs dream to be able to draft.
From the class the players who I think have a very strong shot at hall of fame include Purdy Mediocre who despite his name is a max earning running back for Arizona, so assuming he plays most of his career with them, he's going to factor in heavily on the stat board and he will get a lot of playoff games as well - and probably a few more championships on top of the 1 he already has up on me. It's a good position to be in.
Another one who I think is primed to be a shoe in is Jack Sloth. Kickers are a bit of an oddity position, but he's max earning and I believe will continue to do so. He's going to be a top tier kicker for a long time in the league, and New Orleans is not a basement team, on paper they are actually looking pretty solid, so Sloth should get some really good seasons and as long as the longevity is there he should be a force to be reckoned with, putting up really good numbers over a long career which should be a really good knod to hall in the distant future.
After that I'll throw in Dulio's Beard as well. Another high end user with a track record and a massive bank account. I don't think he's a GM so I don't see any real reason why he might be position swap happy, or choose to end the career early which I think is a very important metric in anything Hall of Fame. If you position swap late, it's not going to be easy to make a case for you stats wise, and then longevity being another factor, you want to have a long career so you have a lot of time to chase those all time high scores, which if you are able to get a career stat under your belt I think you are pretty much a lock in.
I'm electing to leave out the users who I recognize to be GM's because my experience is many of them are very team first. That makes a good gm and good team leadership to be flexible, but also it doesn't line up with some of the wants from a hall of fame player. They are additionally tied to their team, so there isn't the ability to hop around if the need arises.
Anyways thanks for reading my ted talk, I'll be back next season.
