Accepting losses and moving on to the next game is an important ability for any great player. As a rookie defensive captain for the Minnesota Grey Ducks, Joe Blaze takes his role very seriously and knows he plays a significant role in helping the team have the right mindset when experiencing a tough loss. The ducks haven't had a perfect season so far by any means but Blaze makes sure to remind his teammates that the playoffs are still wide open. In most of the losses so far, the ducks have still been in the game late which shows how close they are to putting all the pieces together. Blaze likes to remind everyone on the defensive side of the ball to focus on the play at hand, get off the field, and get the ball into the offense's hands. After every game and especially a tough loss, Blaze invites all of the defensive players over to his house to review the game film so they can analyze how they can improve. (172 words)
