While we would all rather win, the reality is, sometimes you are on the other side. I've lost an Ultimus in my career, I know what it's like to fail on the biggest stage. When you lose in the regular season though, it's a lot different. What I like to do most is show my teammates that I still support them. Even though we came up short, we need to keep our minds set on the bigger picture. The season is a battle of ups and downs and remaining level through them all will put the team in a position to recover from a loss and not get too high after a win. If we're on the verge of being eliminated from playoff contention within a couple of weeks, that's when I pull out the "Rah-Rah" speech type of thing. You can't do that too early or too often, it's a once or twice per year thing. I've been in this league a long time, and I've learned to accept that losing is the price you pay sometimes for challenging yourself and competing with the best that the entire world has to offer.
