In the midst of his third season with the Honolulu Hahalua and with a grand total of six wins out of 35 games played, Lenard McRobinson is no stranger to losing. As a key part of a rebuild, it's expected that the team will take some lumps as it finds its identity and the young players evolve into the skilled veterans that they will surely become. Lenard is the quarterback and one of the oldest players on the roster, so his leadership and guidance is critical to make sure morale stays high and the team uses each loss as a learning experience. He helps the coaches coordinate film sessions and sits in with each offensive position group, making sure that every unit is on the same page about how to execute on the schemes to the highest degree. He also leads by example in the weight room and on the field, making sure he demonstrates the importance of hard work and always pushing yourself.
