A loss can evoke many feelings. I see this game as having four states. Having a good game and winning, having a good game and losing, having a bad game and winning, and having a bad game and losing. When Kronk has a good game and wins, he feels on top of the world. Not much better than feeling like you carried the team to victory with your individual play. When Kronk has a good game and loses, it is frustrating. It proves that he cannot carry the team by himself, and the team must be good to succeed, which begs the question why try? When Kronk has a bad game and wins, it similarly feels like "why try if the team even needs me"? But when Kronk has a bad game and loses, it's almost as if the team cant win without him, which is a very nice boost to the ego
