I think this needs something where higher tiered bots aren't introduced until X things happen (like a player reaches that TPE level in the prior season or the current season, either could work) when that happens the price scale adjusts for all of the bots. So working with the numbers you have, TC just hit 600 TPE so you could active the 600 TPE bot this season or next season, w/e. If next season the 400 TPE bot costs $7,000,000, the 200 TPE bot costs $4,500,000, etc. When the 600 TPE bot is released, it costs $7,000,000, the 400 TPE bot costs $4,500,000, etc. Obviously these numbers could be tweaked, but you get the idea.
I think any 600 TPE player in the league is going to be able to easily command over $4,500,000 if they hit the market. I don't think that should change for any position.
That's a great point. I'm fine with preventing the tier 3 and tier 4 bots to be unlocked at a later time. Basically we can benchmark it as a player hits the threshold, they get to be the top dog of that for that year. A bot with equivalent or less TPE is now purchasable next year.
So in this example, no OL Bot will have more TPE than the highest TPE player.
