13. Choose a team or player to write about that isn’t your own. What did they do well in the last season? Have they shown any drastic improvements from previous years? What could they do better?
A retroactive analysis of Gimmy Jaroppolo Jr.'s first three seasons: For completely arbitrary reasons, I have chosen Gimmy Jaroppolo Jr. as the player I am putting a spotlight on, so apologies to their user if they ever see this analysis. First off, Gimmy, in his first three seasons has accrued four single-season records. And it is his distinct dishonor that they are all exactly what you don’t want to see from a quarterback. In 2045, the most mild record he holds claim to is that he has recovered the most fumbles in a season, with 8. Then the next year, his problems with possession continued, as he got the opposite record for most fumbles lost, also 8. That, plus he got the record for most interceptions in a season, with 23, just seven fewer than his paltry 30 touchdowns. And then in the most recent season, he completed the trifecta by earning the record for most total fumbles in a season with 17. But to be fair, when you’ve been sacked 60 and 70 times every single time in your three seasons, that can take a toll on your mental acuity, and he’s just been pressured way too much for fumbles not to happen. I would improve his hands personally. And in only three seasons, he’s one more record-tying season performance away from claiming the most fumbles recovered, lost and total in ISFL history. He’s also almost cracked the top 10 in interceptions, so he’s got a real shot at that record too! But again, to temper everyone’s thoughts, it seems everything rests on young Gimmy Jr.’s shoulders, as he is about one good season from being in the top 10 for total yards thrown and most touchdowns in a career. Everything runs through Jaroppolo, good and bad, and Baltimore needs to protect him if they want even more success.

14. Expansion Expansion Expansion! Tell us why you think the league should expand / not expand or include any ideas (in words) for team branding ideas you have or team locations.
I absolutely under no circumstances believe that the league should expand past its current 14 team Majors, 8 team minors status. I personally find it miraculous that the league is so large and so, from what I hear? stable. It is so important to carefully cultivate the incoming rookie draft class sizes so that there’s not just a nadir of talent after the first superstars came, played, and went, (though I suppose that would still leave pretty equal footing for the dregs that would remain afterwards.) I guess the stability comes from the extreme shortness of a player’s maximum playing career? It speaks to the harshness of the sport, but come on, not everyone is playing as hard on their body as a running back does.
Anyway, in the fun what if scenario that an expansion plan does get announced, the teams I think should be created next are the Istanbul Janissaries and the Stockholm Storm Raiders. This warrior expansion pack would increase the marketability of the ISFL to European markets, with a little twinge of Asia thrown in as well, and could make for some absolutely killer team logo designs. I’m thinking something with a scimitar for Istanbul, and lightning and a longship for Stockholm? Could be dope! And we could have really good, unique flavors of food introduced to the league via their stadiums’ concession stands, which is in desperate need of extra spices and textures. I get America has a prevalence for football, but it comes at the expense of culinary bravery! Anyway, the Stockholm team would be playing the ASFC and the Istanbul team would be playing in the NSFC, and then a nice round 8 team majors would be established, and the number absolutely would not be changed, until we are sure we could get to 10. I like the inclusion for numbers’ sake because having last place be 7th seems very awkward to my brain.
