18. The season is over and the draft is coming up. What do you bring to a team, and why should a team choose to take a chance on you next season?
I bring a lot of heart a passion to a team, I'm willing to have 0 catches on a season just to hit any opposing player that's in front of me, just obliterate poor linebackers, defensive backs, and even defensive ends if I have to. Yes I'm in a pass catchers position, but I can't control what my heart desires. And hey, if it comes to it, I'm good for those little dink and dunk one to two yard dump off passes. In the locker room I'm more of a fly on the wall, an unvocal leader if you will, always willing to hype a person up when they make a good play or try and cheer them up when they mess up because hey, we're all human, and if we were perfect players or humans, we'd be doing a lot more than playing a silly little ball game. Hopefully my play in the DSFL will be good enough to turn enough ISFL team heads.
19. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it.
What doesn't have to be added to our stadium? Some more seats so fans can actually show up to the game, new concession items so we aren't giving out food that they wouldn't even sell at a pee wee football game. The locker room doesn't even have toilets so if you have to go, then you're basically going to miss the pre-game meeting because it's so far away. Speaking of the locker room, the lockers are basically high school lockers in which they just took the doors off, so you don't even get your own space, everyone's bunched up and the rookies have to use the bottom lockers for a season or two. At this point I think renovating the the current stadium, the team might as well threaten to move the team until the city folds and agrees to fund a new stadium that the citizens have to pay with their hard earned money.
27. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why?
If I couldn't pick tight end, then I probably would've done defensive end or some sort of pass rushing linebacker build. My first player was on defense, my last player was on offense, so I was tempted to pick defense again to continue the trend. Just the idea of wreaking havoc on the edge and making an impact by sacking the quarterback just sounds so satisfying. Essentially being one of the key cornerstones of the defense, making sure no ball carrier gets past me, making sure no quarterback has a clean pocket. Defensive ends also arguably have the most aura of any other member on the team, except maybe wide receiver. And even if you have a bad game, no one's gonna care, people are going to go straight for the cornerbacks if the passing defensive has a bad game, and the defensive tackles or linebackers if the running defense has a bad game.
33. When looking at the teams we have in the ISFL and DSFL, is there any team you believe is in need of a major rebrand or update to their current branding? Why or why not?
I have two teams in mind, one that I think needs an updated logo and one that I think needs to change it's colors.
I'll start with the logo, and that's the Portland Python's of the Developmental Simulation Football League, and that's mainly because the logo's just really old and it sort of looks out of place with the rest of the logos in the two leagues and is a bit too cartoony to be a sports logo.
For colors I think I'd go with the Berlin Salamanders of the International Simulation Football League, and that's mainly due to one of their colors, the mustard yellow. Just every time I see the color it reminds me of something not too dissimilar to baby poop. As for what color I'd choose to replace it? I'm not 100 percent sure, but anything would be better than mustard yellow, and if you can't find a good accent color, then you can change the salamanders main color and just make black the accent color.
