It could have been a complete 0-20 season, but somehow they were able to pull out a final pre-season week win over the New York Silverbacks by 14. With that win there was a bit of promise coming into the regular season, but that started off with a rough loss to the Honolulu Hahalua. As the Yeti lost all 16 games during the season, they were trounched in many of the games giving up 609 Points, while only scoring 259 for themselves. That week 1 loss was the closest game that they had until near the very end, as they lost in week 15 to the Cape Town Crush. The worst part of that Crush 27-24 loss was that at the end of the 3rd Quarter it was 14-10 Yeti, and then the Crush scored the winning Touchdown by von Turbo with 44 seconds left in the game on a 3rd and goal. The Yeti tried to move it down the field in the last 40 seconds, but as they started at their own 25 they only reached the Crush 45 yard line, and their teams of winning one game on the season was CRUSHED.
Quote:16. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season? For Dazen Guile season 48 seemed like it would be something brand new and exciting, after a rough season 47 with the Dallas Birddogs, it was time to go up to the ISFL. With the Birddogs he went 1-13, with the team sputtering all over the place, in his solo season in the DSFL. Then it came to being drafted in the ISFL to the Colorado Yeti, the excitement of getting called right up, along with a handful of other brand new rookies was something exciting for everyone. But also a giant understanding that because of the major youth, and also some major elderly, that it would be a rough and trying season overall. And the 0-16 season was something to behold, and to be a part of for everyone involved.

Quote:20. Written Option: Which teammate of yours is the ultimate team player and why? How does this person exhibit selflessness and put the team first? Are they a great locker room presence who encourages others? Do they play an important but unappreciated role on the team which doesn't receive much recognition for awards? Graphic Option: Create a graphic of your player with your teammate who exhibits a team-friendly attitude. For the Colorado Yeti the ultimate teammate by far is one of our future core LB Willeh Strong. Willeh is very down to earth and keeps to himself a lot of the time not saying much... bahaha just kidding we all know he's the loudest and most boisterous in the entire league. But the point of all of that is to get the whole team pumped up no matter what is going on. After a big play by the D, he's the first one jumping around. If there is a play on the O that helps so much, he's going to make sure that those key people get some handshakes and highfives. And even if it is a terrible play, some kind of play that is a key to a loss, something that might be demoralizing for anyone else, Willeh makes sure to get everyone together and excited for the next play, the next week, the next anything that is coming up. Willeh Strong!
