At this point, I got no clue what I have or haven't written about in the past, but I feel like this is a particularly special one. For me, while it may not be significant in the eyes of the masses, just the existence of this league has been a major significance in my life. Recently, I hit 7 years in the league (July 8th, 2017 was when I first made my account), and it's just one of those things that has me a bit nostalgic. 7 years has seen a lot of history, and many of the people who came before me or right after me have come and gone without staying. A few guys are still around from that era, where we had 8 teams, no DSFL, then we launched the DSFL and added 6 teams in a developmental setting to help new users find a place they could excel in. I wasn't around for everything, I've taken multiple major breaks from the league and that to me is one of the reasons I've been able to stick with this league where something like SHL or PBE have failed, it helps that this league holds a special place in my heart because of the people I've met and the friendships I've made, even if I'm a bit of a controversial figure who has caused chaos in the past. I bring all this up not because I want to fluff up this prompt or anything, but because I feel like I've had a really unique experience in the league that many will never even consider, and throughout my time in this league I don't think I've ever really stopped and thought. There was always something, I always pushed myself to try and help the league in the early stages, and then when I was done as HO, DSFL commish, DSFL simmer, and other roles I really had a chance to just exist in the league in a way I hadn't since well season 2. It's been so long since I've held an actual league job that this is all ancient history, but none-the-less my incoherent rambling has a point. For any new user who may be reading this, the PPT person who may be reading this to check if it is actually relevant to the task (I would say it is please give me my TPE), sometimes you have to just take a step back and relax. I get how easy it is to want to do everything you can for the league, and to see certain awards, jobs, or others and just want everything you can and really make the impact. The biggest way you can make an impact in the league is just being helpful, looking out for your teammates and opponents, and just enjoying your time in the league. Have fun, cause chaos if you want (but please be respectful and responsible you can cause chaos without breaking the rules), and most importantly enjoy the time you have with the people in the league. We're all here at the end of the day to enjoy our time and do some arguably stupid role-play with fake football players earning fictional points and stats, and that's perfectly ok.
Also, because it is relevant to this and to me, @Muford has been one of a few people to really help my enjoyment of the league, even if he is a snake. Not to get sappy or anything, but I've known Muford for a length of time that I never expected to know any sim leaguer, and there's a few others too that fit the bill, and to say over the years how much he is ingrained in my sim league life, even if he did steal my 1OA (I will never forget), it's just an insane thing to think about that this seemingly stupid sim league became such a major part of my life and such a good part of my life that it has created friendships I've held and valued for years.
Like I said, the sim league is great, enjoyable, and such a fun experience, don't forget to take it slow and just relax even when you wanna spend as much time as possible helping, 7 years is a length of time I never saw reaching in this sim league and yet here I am 7 years later in a vastly different league, but one that has changed so much for the better.
