In the NSFC, the battle for the 1 seed is seemingly going to come down to the Baltimore Hawks and the Yellowknife Wraiths. Though Baltimore won both of their matchups already, they both sit at 8-3 after 11 weeks. Despite Baltimore's head to head advantage, they have a much tougher schedule to end the season. Most notably, they have to travel to New Orleans in week 16 in what could potentially be a must win game. With Baltimore, their success always depends on the performance of their star running backs. If Skywalker and Shrubbery can get going, it's going to be tough to stop them.
In the ASFC, all eyes are on the race for the 2nd and 3rd seeds. I think most people are eager to see if Arizona, the most consistent team in recent ISFL history, can close out the season strong to secure a spot. The most consequential games on the schedule figure to be Arizona vs Austin in week 12 and Arizona vs San Jose in week 16. If the Outlaws want to live up to their reputation, they will need receivers Aguilera and Bamford to make O'Duck's job easy. The rookie QB has struggled at times, and they'll figure to use the running game and short passes to find success.
