Looking ahead, there's a few matchups to close out the season that will shape the playoffs. Week 14 sees the Baltimore Hawks host the Sarasota Sailfish. Baltimore sits in first with a 10-3 record, tied with the Yellowknife Wraiths while the Sailfish sit in 3rd with a record of 9-4. Hawks will need to win to keep ahold of the top spot while a win for the Sailfish would put them firmly in the running to finish on top of the NSFC.
Week 16 will see Baltimore travel to New Orleans. The Second Line currently sit atop of the AFSC with a record of 9-4 and much like the NFSC the race of top spot is still on. Come week 16, this game could very well determine if either team finishes in top spot in their respective conferences in a meeting that may very well be a preview of the Ultimus. This of course is contingent on both teams being able to rack up wins and keep the chasing teams at bay come week 16.
