The off-season has come and gone and for Dawelle Wevis, he really took some time away from football to just enjoy life and reflect on what has been a very solid career so far. While he has not been the greatest player to ever live, Wevis has been a solid corner for a two time defending champion Second Line team that is looking to three peat and the team has the personnel to do it as well. Wevis has of course been in the gym and working out but generally has not been a ton around football and while his skills still need a little fine tuning, he is just taking time to go on vacation, enjoy some sights in some new places and just get his mind ready for the new season. He looks to still be an impact player on the Second Line even as he gets older and while he has close to plateaued in his abilities he still can improve a little bit. So before the season, he is back in the locker room and the gym and the practice fields doing everything to prepare for the season!
