This was possibly the most hectic offseason of Traffic Cone's life. With the combine, the endless meetings and workouts with all the ISFL teams who'd taken an interest in him, and the actual draft, Traffic felt like he'd never have a free second again over the first half of the offseason. Even with the chaos, however, it was a satisfying offseason for Traffic. Once the bulk of his offseason work was over, he'd seen himself drafted to the Otters as one of the first OL off the board and awarded an All-Pro in his rookie season. He'd already accomplished one of his main goals in the DSFL, to show that he could play at a high level despite his stature. So where does Traffic go from here? Where he always goes during the quiet part of the offseason: back to construction. Over his whole football career, he's always found a lot of overlap between his current job as an offensive lineman and his old one blocking off roads and sidewalks. He admits it isn't the most modern or conventional form of training, but Traffic is a cone of habit and claims this offseason tradition of his to be more effective in honing his technique than any regular training he's tried. Now that he's proven he belongs, it was time to give his second DSFL goal his full attention: winning an Ultimini.
