The world isn't fair...sometimes it is. Events in our lives happen for either for the good or for the bad. Some situations are in our control some or outside of our ability no matter what we do. Vikain Marmeladov experienced this first hand. After his rookie season with the Colorado Yeti the NSFL decided to expand the league by two more teams that included the Las Vegas Legion and the Philadelphia Liberty. Yeti GM’s would eventually tell Marmeladov that he will not be one of the players protected in the upcoming expansion draft. When the draft came he was selected 2nd Overall by the Liberty. And this past season he had a career season and helped the Liberty get into their first post-season appearance. But what would have happened of the Las Vegas Legion picked him first overall or if Liberty didn't pick him as second. The question can even go further with what would have happened if the Yeti protected Marmeladov? When asked to comment about this he said, “I have no idea how it would have played out. At this moment in time Liberty seem to be in the best position out of the other two I possibly could have been. Obviously the Legion are starting to step up and become a solid team. But in the end the Liberty are the team that wanted me the most and I’m giving them 110% to them.”
