Week 1 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
A HUGE opening game win for the boys and girls in freedom colors! This game started off a bit slow offensively but we ended up putting up 29 points! Lonnie Jackson put up 50+ yards on the ground while also taking a 56 yard reception to the house for the only receiving touchdown of the game! Jax Baker added a short touchdown run as well, but the majority of the scoring came off the leg of rookie kicking sensation Ikick Ballz. Ballz went 5/5 on field goals and hit one from 50+! He also hit both of his extra point attempts and really put the Liberty out on top in this one. Your offensive game ball of weekend 1 goes to Ikick Ballz with his amazing opening performance! Here’s to hoping for more perfection as the season goes on!
Week 1 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
Hells Bells ring loud in this one folks! Yellowknife didn’t know what hit them as our defense came out with a savage demeanor. The young defense held the Wraiths to only 6 points all game and put up 8 sacks! Gary Goodman tallied 7 tackles to go with 2 sack lunches, while CJ Sonjack played his typical all star type of game with a bunch of passes defensed, 5 tackles, and an INT. Lucid Dreams pitched in 4 tackles to go with 2 force fumbles. Rookie Cedric Wilkins II showed up with 2 tackles, a sack, and a pass defensed from the nickelback position! However, the game ball on the defensive side goes to the Captain, Xavier Walls. I had no choice as the dot put up 9 tackles, 4 sacks, a tackle for a loss, 2 FF, and 1 FR. Hopefully our team defense continues to shine and we keep whalloping teams! GG’s and good night!
Week 2 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs NOLA
Week 2 and we’re rolling! We came out strong in another one to open this season. Our passing game was consistent as Ryan Negs threw for 252 yards and 2 TDs without a pick. Chambers led receivers with 85 yards, while Fencik snagged one of the 2 receiving TDs on the night and the newly anointed RB Matt Cross caught the other. Our running game was where we really shined though as Cross added another 42 yards and Lonnie Jackson lit up the NOLA defense for 183 yards and 2 TDs on 15 attempts. This performance earns Lonnie our game ball this week as he erupted for a glorious showing in week 2 to carry us to another victory. Congrats runningboy and I look forward to seeing you steamroll more teams as we go.
Week 2 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs NOLA
Another dominating showing for our defense as we held the NOLA offense to only 9 points. There are quite a few people who had great performances such as Doy Fieri with 9 tackles to go with 3 passes defensed and a FF/FR. Some other key contributors were Haywood with 10 tackles and 1 for a loss, Jimi DeSoto with 7 tackles with a FR, Goodman adding a sack and a FF, while rookie Wilkins II tallied his 2nd sack of the season. Our game ball, however, goes to CJ Sonjack as he tallied only 2 tackles, but defended 3 passes and took an INT back for a TD. CJ continues to be a shutdown corner as he ball hawks quarterbacks. Congrats and I assume this won’t be the last showing like this for our defense!
Week 3 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
Week 3; Win 3!!! We came out in this and scored quick with a Lonnie Jackson touchdown, but our offense slowed after that. Overall we had a pretty good showing as Negs had 215 yards and a TD but 2 INTs, Lonnie Jackson had 73 yards and a TD, and Borgo San Lorenzo put up 93 yards on 6 catches. Ikick Ballz again continued to boot balls through goal posts as he hit 4 of 5 with one being a 52 yarder. However, our game ball for the offense goes to Alexander Franklin as he continues to lead our offensive line to a great season! He once again got 9 pancakes and allowed 0 sacks. Congrats big guy and here’s to a season full of flapjacks!
Week 3 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
Defensively this week, we really came out strong in a bend but don’t break fashion. Lucid Dreams led the team in tackles with 5, while Fieri and Sonjack were swatting balls down all day with 3 and 4 respectively. Honkytonk Haywood got another sack this game, but our game ball goes to Romulus Roman and his 3 tackle, 1 pass defensed, 1 INT game. We really want to see these Roman brothers splash onto the scene this season and this is the perfect start to get them going! Congrats Romulus and I think we’ll see much more of this as the season goes on!
Week 4 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BAL
In week for we came into a game against a streaking Hawks team, but we quickly put that to rest with a schlacking. This game was an incredible offensive performance that was capped off by brilliant days from Chambers (8 rec, 95 yds, 2 TDs), San Lorenzo (6 rec, 80 yds, 1 TD), and Fencik (5 rec, 122 yds, 1 TD). Lonnie Jackson and Jax Baker both added another TD apiece, but our Offensive Game Ball of the Week goes to Ryan Negs. Negs put up 355 yds and 4 TDs with a passer rating of 144.3. This is the type of performance that Negs can put up every week and it really shows how much of a roll the team is on right now! Congrats Negs and heres to a 400 yard game in the near future!
Week 4 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BAL
Defensively, we shut down the Hawks in this one. Our secondary was applying stops across the middle with Sonjack (10 tackles) and Romulus Roman (4 tackles) patrolling while our front seven absolutely hammered Gimmy Jaropollo Jr in this one. Our sack tally looked like this: Walls (2), Goodman (1), Dreams (1), Wrecks (1), and our Defensive Game Ball winner of week 4 Haywood (1). Honkytonk continues to be one of the best defensive linemen in the league and he got a huge strip sack to supply the momentum for the rest of the defense in this one. Congrats HTH and here’s to next week’s sack party!
Week 5 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs COL
In a tough first loss to our season, our offense was quiet early until late in the game when they managed to come to life and put some points on the board. Negs had an efficient and errorless game with 261 yds and 2 TDs. Fencik put up another 100 yard game with 125 on 6 recs and Chambers added a TD on the game. Lonnie Jackson and the running game was rather quiet in yardage, but the lead back managed to throw in a TD of his own. Our game ball winner for this one though is Borgo San Lorenzo who collected 9 catches for 50 yds and a TD. Borgo was a chain mover in this one and his TD late made this into a game instead of the rout it was early. Congrats Borgo and here’s to a Tight End of the Year award down the line!
Week 5 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs COL
Our defense struggled in this game to stop the Yeti on 3rd down. That was the story of the game pretty much the entire way through with Captain Walls disappearing in this one. However, our wildcard rookie, Cedric Wilkins tallied another sack and CJ Sonjack continued to play at his elite level forcing a fumble and collecting a team leading 6 tackles. DeSoto had 2 passes defensed as he tried his best to coordinate things on the defensive side, collecting 5 tackles himself along with Haywood. Romulus Roman added another INT and was a strong candidate for game ball himself. However, our defensive game ball goes to our veteran leader Gary Goodman though. Goodman tallied 5 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble in this game. Goodman continues to push up the franchise sack record and has 6 on the season now. Congrats!
Week 6 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
In a nailbiter against Berlin, our offense put up respectable numbers but in the end it just wasn’t quite enough. Ryan Negs had a very efficient day going for 203 yds and 3 TDs with 0 INT. Jake Fencik and Chambers both added 2 TDs and 1 TD respectively. Overall though, our offensive line really killed it which leads to our Offensive Game Ball going to Rudy Gray who led our linemen with 11 pancakes! We’ve had a great showing by our bulldozers up front this season and truly we are very happy to have these guys powering us forward! Congrats Rudy and hope to see some more big time stats this season!
Week 6 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
Defensively, it was a hard day as we held they all the way up until the end of the game and they snuck one by us. We had so many incredible performances in this one! Goodman came out with 7 tackles, 2 sacks, and an INT while Romulus Roman had 6 tackles, 2 FF, and a FR. Wilkins, Walls, and Wrecks all added sacks on the night with Wilkins also getting a FF. Our defensive player of the game though is Remus Roman who put up 5 tackles, a sack, a pass defensed, and a pick six! The Roman brothers have really started to put it together and they make the back end of this defense even more terrifying. Congrats Remus and I’m sure we’ll see more of these coming your way!
Week 7 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
Our offense struggled in this game against a stout Chicago defense, but we still managed to pull out the win. Our offense was led by our ground game as Negs struggled to get anything going through the air. Matt Cross led in yardage with 79 yards rushing. Jake Fencik led in receiving with 71 yards and a TD. Overall though, our offensive game ball goes to Lonnie Jackson as he pounded 2 TDs in and took advantage of great field positioning. Congrats Lonnie! Hope to see you continue to drive home the points!
Week 7 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
Defensively we absolutely bodied the Butchers. Our team put up sacks galore with Lucid, Haywood, Walls, Tex, and Romulus all adding to the party. Doy Fieri was a highlight of the game as he took an INT to the house! Our defensive game ball winner is a name we hear quite often and what at this point looks to be the defensive player of the year award leader, Gary Goodman! He had 4 tackles, 2 tfl, 1 sack, 2 passes defensed, and 2 INTs! He literally did a little of everything in this game and it was hard not to select him here. Congrats!
Week 8 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs OCO
Offense was in short supply in this game and it came down to a 2-pt margin at the end, but we weren’t able to pull out the win. Jake Fencik put up a great line with 10 catches for 122 yards and Chambers snagged a TD pass from Ryan Negs, but otherwise the offense was quiet. In an odd turn of events, our Offensive game ball actually comes from special teams and I gave it to Cedric Wilkins for his 80 yard return touchdown. In his rookie year he has been an incredible return man for us and this really cements his position going into the rest of the season. Congrats and hope to see more return TDs as we continue this great year!
Week 8 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs OCO
Defensively we held the Otters down just not out. Again Goodman, Walls, and Wrecks added sacks to their staunch numbers already, while Doy continued his career year getting another INT. The Defensive Game Ball goes to Romulus Roman in this one, however, as he added 4 tackles, 2 passes defensed, and an INT! Congrats again to Roman as he and his brother continue to have career years themselves!
Week 9 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs ARI
We came out fighting in this one against a very solid Outlaws team. In the end it was another nailbiter that we came up just short on, but our offense had a solid spark to it! Negs passed for 256 yards, a TD, and a INT. Fencik surpassed 100 yards and added a TD for another game this season, and Matt Cross added 60+ yards receiving. In the end, however, our Offensive Game Ball of the week goes to Lonnie Jackson who accumulated 114 yards on 15 carries and broke through for 2 TDs. Congratulations to Lonnie and I’m positive this is his break-out year baby!
Week 9 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs ARI
Again, defensively, we wracked up a ton of sacks in this game but the opposing ground game got to us. Walls, DeSoto, and Wrecks added to their sack totals, while our secondary batted down balls all day long with 6 total passes defensed! Walls also forced a fumble in this one! Our Defensive Game Ball goes to our veteran leader, Gary Goodman though as he tallied 11 tackles, 2 sacks, and a FF! Gary continues to be a franchise gem for the team and at this rate he will be a surefire Liberty Hall of Famer! Congrats Gary and here’s to more and more!
Week 10 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
This was a majorly important game for us going down the stretch and we came out and gave a beat down to the Sailfish! Negs was very efficient with the ball as he passed for 265 yards and 2 TDs. Chambers gathered in another TD and added 54 yards on 6 catches to move the chains. Our rushing game was a bit slow on the day but they worked as a trio to move the chains when needed. The Offensive Game Ball of the week goes to Jake Fencik though as he displayed his speed in this one! He took 5 catches to the tune of 160 yards receiving and added a TD! Fencik will easily surpass the 1k yardage mark for the season and he’s looking like a possible WR of the year candidate! Congrats Fencik and keep runnin’ boiiiii!
Week 10 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
This was an extremely hard week to pick a single player for Defensive Game Ball of the Week. The entire defense was responsible for giving the Sailfish fits. Walls and Haywood both added sacks, while Goodman and DeSoto controlled the field with clutch tackles. I decided to give the game ball of the week to our Cornerbacks as a group though, as not many defenses can say they held Boss to this low of a game this season. Doy, Sonjack, and Wilkins combined for 12 tackles, 1 sack, a FF, 9 passes defensed, and an INT! Congrats to our cornerbacks and I know they’ll be hungry going forward this season after this performance!
Week 11 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
Our offense came out triumphant in this game as we won another key inter conference game against the Butchers! They did struggle to put the ball in the endzone though as the defense gave them a lot of opportunities to score, but managed only field goals (more to come in regards to those!). Negs again had an efficient day with 221 yards and a TD. Our running game put up 90 yards combined on the ground and our receivers struggled to hold onto the ball at times. With that in mind, the Offensive Game Ball of the Week goes out to Ikick Ballz for smashing another extremely long field goal of 58 yards and going a perfect 4/4 on the day! Ikick Ballz in his rookie year has already stamped his name at the top of the longest field goals chart in team history and I can only see things improving from here!
Week 11 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
Sacks on sacks on sacks! Our defense continued to roll in this game as we continuously forced the Butchers into 3 and outs. Walls and Goodman continued their great season by adding a sack a piece, but the Defensive Game Ball of the Week goes to our Field General middle linebacker, Jimi DeSoto! DeSoto wrangled in 9 tackles, a sack, and added 2 pass defenses in this game and he shows every week how strong of a leader he is on the field for us! Congrats Jimi and here’s to more to come!
Week 12 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
A huge offensive output really brought us victory in this one! Ryan Negs had an incredible day throwing for 3 TDs and 355 yards, while Lonnie Jackson added a TD on the ground. Fencik threw up another 100+ yard day with 149 on 5 catches while Chambers added a TD. Ikick Ballz slammed home another thunderball from the stratosphere from 59 yards out. However, our Offensive Game Ball of the Week goes to Borgo San Lorenzo! Borgo put up 104 yards on 5 catches and corralled 2 TDs from Negs! What a great performance in such a clutch game on our road to the playoffs!
Week 12 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
Defensively, we held off the Berlin attack and allowed our offense to play their game. Sacks by In Active and Tex Wrecks were highlights along with pass deflections galore throughout the secondary! Remus Roman continued the trend of Roman brothers getting turnovers with an INT! The rest of the team played sideline to sideline in their efforts to stop the Berlin attack and wracked up a ton of tackles. Sonjack had 8 tackles, Haywood had 7, Lucid had 7 and a tfl, DeSoto had 6 and 2 passes defensed. The Defensive Game Ball goes to Xavier Walls as he led with 10 tackles and a sack in this one. Great job defense and here’s to the rest of a dominant season en route to a playoff appearance!
Week 13 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
Look at this offense y’all! We dominated again in one that really solidified us as a team to fear going forward! This was a tough game to pick a single player in for the Offensive Game Ball of the week so I’m just going to start it off with the winners! Ryan Negs and Borgo San Lorenzo combined for 3 TDs together on the night as they tore open the seam against the Yellowknife defense. Ryan Negs threw another TD on the night and had no interceptions! Fencik fell just short of another 100 yard game with 92 yards and a TD. Lonnie and Cross combined for 77 yards on the ground on the night and Ikick Ballz was once again lights out in his punting game!
Week 13 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
Defensively it was a bit easier to single out one person to take home the Defensive Game Ball award, but we’ll get to him in a second. DeSoto led the defense with 8 tackles, a sack, and a defensed. Jimi has been a very under-celebrated part of this defense this year even though his contributions have been integral to our success. Walls added yet another sack to his totals while collecting 6 tackles. Romulus Roman had a stellar game with 5 tackles, a sack, 2 passes defensed, and a clutch INT. However, the game ball goes to none other than Gary ‘Fucking” Goodman who played like a man possessed in this one. Gary collected 6 tackles, 2 sacks, a FF, a PD, and a pick six on the night! Honestly, Goodman is one of the all time greats to ever wear a Liberty uniform and I truly believe his records will stand unbroken through the years. Congrats to Goodman and congrats to our defense as it continues to be #1 in the league!

Defensively this week, we really came out strong in a bend but don’t break fashion. Lucid Dreams led the team in tackles with 5, while Fieri and Sonjack were swatting balls down all day with 3 and 4 respectively.
