it's because all season long, the #1 thing people hear about in regards to players having a good or bad season is entirely about their fantasy performance. the players that win you a fantasy seasons are the RBs who get a ton of TDs, so RBs are way overvalued in awards, alongside TDs themselves. fantasy football has warped the brains of generations of NFL fans, and it warps the brains of all of us today.
