When Cameron Taylor heard the news he'd been drafted by the Pythons, he did exactly what his friends and family would have expected him to do. He finished his final classes at the University of Michigan, packed up all of his things, and moved to Portland as soon as possible. To bulk up for the Long DSFL season, Taylor switched up the carb heavy, mac and cheese, ramen, and beer student diet to a more protein rich chicken, bean, cabbage, and potato based diet. The farts were unbelievable but this will hopefully provide longer lasting energy for two a day training sessions with the new team.
The training has been very similar to University of Michigan but now with a focus on hand eye coordination. Taylor recently took up juggling and magic tricks to help improve his hand eye, something that should help increase the amount of pass deflections and interceptions for the coming year.
Transportation in Portland, as hip as it is, is mostly public transport or biking. While other teammates are flying in on private jets, Taylor has started biking to workouts and training, helping to improve his endurance throughout the season.
The rest of the free time during the off season is just being spent getting to know the team and relaxing at home, staying out of the public spotlight and focusing on playing football. (229)
