I cant shake the old NFL Europe team, Rhein Fire (fun fact, Terry Crews played for them), whenever I see this new name. I'm indifferent on the name, I do agree that perhaps German lexicon would have been much more appealing to others and for branding.
Personally, I would have did something like Stuttgart Scharwzwald but that's me being nostalgic to old 2nd gen video games

Whatever Dewalt and High do, I sincerely hope they put their team name in German. I just don't think a Berlin team would have an English nickname. Plus if they do that I'm pretty sure their team name would become the Berlin Feuer Feuergeist and at that point you'd pretty much have to reconsider what you're doing.
