Look, it’s been a disappointing season in Kansas City. I think there’s still time to turn things around and I’ll tell you why:
As rough as the offense has been, the defense has shown great promise. King Leonidas has shown he has big-time highlight play ability and is certainly a cornerstone of the team. But it’s been Gaius Gleel who is quietly having a Pro Bowl-caliber season. Sure, he may only have one sack so far, but he tops the league in tackles and has 3 pass deflections to his name. He’s near the top of the league in tackles for loss and has plenty of time to match or surpass his tackle total from last year. It’s still early in the season and he may not have the flashiest numbers across the DSFL, but he’s one of the biggest impact players for his team. There’s a reason he’s a top 5 pick. He’s showing now that he belongs on Berlin’s powerhouse defense. Should Kansas City make the playoffs, it will be on the back of Gaius Gleel.
