Code: 160 words In 2017, LeClair was seen as the all-around well-balanced route-running receiver, perfect for a West Coast offense. Going from humble beginnings as the secondary receiver on the Wraiths, he moved on to become the primary receiver for the Legion. By the end of the season he was a speedy, reliable receiver but his agility wasn’t keeping up and the balance was lost. In 2018, LeClair has set out to regain this balance that made him the preferred target of Bercovici and Stone on the Legion. Lining up on a new team is perfect to turn the leaf over and start afresh. On top of that he’s started strengthening himself and improving his endurance to be a tougher player to take down. Finally, he’s decided to study the Hawks’ playbook instead of just glancing at it briefly, like he did in Vegas. All the fans that followed him want to see LeClair 2.0, and in 2018, they’ll get to see it. [OPTION]Height: 6'3"

Norman Bagwell doesn’t like to really make New Year’s resolutions. He likes to continuously work on things himself, but his coaches and friends all told him that he should make a few goals for the year. So the first one would have to be getting in better shape. Even though he’s a nose tackle and a pretty hefty at 360 lbs, he wants to keep his weight up while slimming down a bit. He could stand to lose some fat and replace it with muscle before he gets to the NSFL. His second goal is to become a better defensive mind. As he played in college and the DSFL, he learned that he needs to improve his mindset when it comes to games instead of just charging in like the bull he’s known to be. If he learns how to charge and attack with some strategy or thought he’d become an even better defensive lineman than he is now.
2018 is a confusing thing for Angus Winchester given that apparently we just finished 2019 in the league and he somehow fit four seasons of professional football into one short stretch of time. If that is truly the case 2018 will be all about Winchester looking for mental health services so that he can possibly correct whatever issue it is that has caused him to become this confused throughout the last few months of his life to feel as though 4 years had passed in the space of only 6 months. Or was it 7? 2? What if Angus Winchester is not actually a football player at all? What if this is all in his mind? Or maybe he's actually a 90-year old ex-NFL player with Alzheimer's who is constantly stuck in a confused past inside of his mind. Yes, Angus Winchester will check the newspaper tomorrow to see what day it is, and then he will assuredly seek the help of a neurologist and a psychiatrist.

Kevin Cushing has a few goals this year. Goal number one: Not take his penis out in public. This will likely be the toughest of his goals for the new year, as having taken it out in public has now helped him reach the word count in four separate PTs. Goal number two: Finish a contract without demanding a trade. Tall fucking order, given that Cushing lasted only two seasons in Yellowknife, which instantly got better once he left. In theory, the Liberty should be better over the next few seasons, but failing to post a winning record in S4 wasn’t a great start. The team appears to have the fewest season one players, though, so once season eight hits and the first wave of regression sets in, Philly will see a huge jump in relative strength. Finally, Cushing wants to be a better corner, but that shit isn’t really tracked, so who knows if he comes through on that one.
Meat...I’m going to miss it. This year I have been convinced by my girlfriend to become a vegan. So no chicken...no bacon...no chili...no juicy delicious steak...not even shrimp. But coming up to my later years of my career maybe it is better that I eat a lot healthier and try to keep my insides healthy as I can. As much as I put in work on my body to look good on the outside, I need to make sure I’m not breaking down inside. It's only been a few days but I already feel a bit better. I think it's going to help me mentally as well. I hope this change can bring a positive outlook both in my performance to help lead my team of Liberty into its first Ultimus Win. Cant say Im doing this more for animal rights but why not lets tack that on as well.
John Wachter's New Year's resolution is really more of a necessity than anything really: Be faster.
As one of the strongest, most sure-handed players in the DSFL, he was simply able to out muscle and bully defenders on a regular basis. But in the NSFL everyone is bigger, stronger, faster, and really just better over all. Being a one trick player won't cut it anymore. The hands will remain an integral part of his games, but its time for the legs to catch up. In order to do this, Wachter returned to school. Not to further his education, don't be ridiculous, but to train with the track team. Simple form changes have added so much speed to his running motion, and his extra time spent is paying dividends on the practice field. Those crisp routes he's known for have become crisper, and the separation from defenders has widened. Wachter is excited to see his hard work pay off throughout the year and the rest of his career. Oh, and a second resolution to not wait until the last second to do all the ACs, updates, etc, and worry the coaches. Maybe start doing that before the day it's due sometimes.

Kurt Hendrix's new year's resolution is to be more of a mentor to the young players that end up on the Hawks roster. In the past, he has been focused 100% on killing opposing QBs and blowing up offensive lines, however, Kurt is entering the prime years of his career, and as one of the best defensive players in the league he has gained a lot of respect. With that respect from his peers he will mentor younger players so they too could climb to the heights Kurt has reached. One of the new things he has instituted this year has been 6AM training sessions at the Baltimore practice facility. This has come as a shock to the new members of the Hawks, but by the end of the season they will be as hard as steel. Kurt isn't going to play forever, but his teachings could be passed down for generations of Hawks players. (155)
Poopyface Tomatonose's primary New Year's Resolution is to stop mailing it in on his point tasks. Creative writing is fun and all, but when you have to shoehorn it into some nonsensical topic it becomes an arduous task. The 2017 version of Tomatonose would use Star Wars memes or an unnecessarily long list of words to reach his word count. Looking toward 2018, however, Tomatonose hopes to instead fill his point tasks with valuable insights that help drive a modern, efficient, and streamlined NSFL. What does that really mean? Who can say for sure. It sure sounds pretty good, though. So far he seems to be off to a pretty good start as this article is really on par with the level of point task quality that he hopes to contribute moving forward.
Another resolution of his is to stop talking in the third person. To be fair, writing from the point of view of a fictional football player named "Poopyface Tomatonose" probably makes that difficult. This resolution is not going quite as well for him. Just read this point task. Come to think of it, he's kind of failing on the first resolution as well. This is 207 words of pure nonsensical word vomit. Oh well.
Boss Tweed's New Year's Resolution is to get back to winning. Entering the 5th year of his career, he has only made the playoffs once and is likely a few years away from being able to make it back. Ever since getting blown out in the Ultimus game, Tweed has made it a goal to return to the Ultimus game and do things the right way this time by coming away with the win. However, before thinking about winning an Ultimus, the Yeti will first need to make it back to the playoffs. It will take time, but the Yeti are hoping to make gradual improvement each year and to hopefully reach the playoffs in a few years and become Ultimus contenders shortly afterward. However, in addition to team improvements, Tweed will need to play better as an individual to help the Yeti return to their winning ways of the past. Looking solely at training hours, Tweed is the best running back in the league by a good margin. However, looking at on the field stats, Tweed has never shown that level of dominance. He has yet to win a running back of the year award and his performance regressed in Season 4 and may be on pace to regress further in Season 5. After next year, Tweed will have to sign a larger contract due to his talent level but if he continues to underperform his talent level, he may be more of a hindrance than a help to the Yeti at that point. Both Tweed and the Yeti will be looking to improve in the new year and will hope for a more successful 2018.
