I 100% agree, JKortesi. I've been here in the NSFL since S2. I've seen the rise of an empire and the fall of another. Despite the massive powerhouse teams that sit atop the ASFC, the NSFC always seemed like the way more competitive division. I remember the Liberty being the lowest of the pole. Now they're poised to be one of the top teams in the NSFL. Yellowknife are perennial threats. Baltimore is never out of the mix. Colorado has been the joke of the division and it must be frustrating as all hell being on that team. By the grace of God (and being BWestfield's RL friend) I landed on the Otters. If I was on your team, I'd be saying the exact same thing, except last season or earlier. San Jose went from a bottom barrel team to a legit threat to our 3rd straight shot at the Ultimus Trophy in a matter of 2-3 seasons. Despite finding out that 1/2 the team was Er Multis, Arizona has maintained a very competitive level. And the ONLY reason the Second Line is where they are is because of a very poor management in the past, and like your article pointed out, they've already made changes that bode very well for their future. Meanwhile, the Yeti stagnate and somehow find ways to lose despite adding what look to be great pieces every season through the draft.
I don't have an answer for you, man. But I empathize with your pain. Whatever it is you end up doing, be it strike and demand changes from within, to demand a trade, or just keep going and hoping for the best, I wish you all the luck. Players like you are what we need more of in this league. You got a thirst and hopefully, we'll see it quenched one day.
