I'm not gonna lie, I expected to have a better season than this. Not necessarily in the rankings but at least in the way we are losing. Our series of 5 losses in a row had some embarrassing matches in it, especially our 7-51 loss to the Baltimore Hawks. Losses like during week 6 to the Yeti are disappointing but at least we showed up. In the Hawks game, nothing was working. On an individual level, I'm pretty disappointed to see that despite all my efforts to get better, I just can't be a difference maker in any of our games. One could argue that I don't have a lot of help from my receivers but it still sucks to look at my stats and see how far behind other quarterbacks I am. Without Brown we would be seriously F'ed.
But on the bright side, our conference is so weak that even being at .400, we are in a playoff spot at the moment and we have what it takes to beat the teams we are playing in our last four games, maybe except the SaberCats. I'll just have to keep swallowing my pride and watch Brown do all the work for us. (07-05-2021, 03:34 PM)r0tzbua Wrote: My favourite person from Quebec (next to Celine Dion) @enigmatic
The Baltimore Hawks are off to a strong start so far in Season 12. They are currently the top team in the NSFC and have the third best record overall with a 6-4 record. The Hawks have the highest scoring offense in the league right now with 353 points scored while no other team has reached 300 points yet in 10 games and they have the third best defense with 207 points allowed. Right now, the Hawks look to be the favorites in the NSFC. They are the only NSFC team without a record below 0.500 and the only NSFC team with a positive point differential. The Hawks have been dominant within the conference as they are 5-0 against conference opponents and have won each conference game by at least 24 points and have scored at least 41 points in every conference game. The Hawks should have a good chance to win the NSFC as they should retain the top spot in the conference and should do well against the opponent as they haven't had much trouble against their conference rivals so far this season. However, they will face a tougher road in their hopes to win the championship as they will likely be on the road against the ASFC champion and they have struggled against ASFC opponents as they are 1-4 against ASFC teams this season. However, they should not be counted out as all of their losses have been by just one score, so they have shown that they can compete with anybody and will not be an easy win for anybody in the playoffs. It's been an exciting season for the Hawks so far and it will be interesting to see how they will finish the season and how they will do in the playoffs.
