There's one trade that I want to look at that I think really changed the landscape of the DSFL this season, and that was the mid draft and confusing trade that sent 23rd Overall Draft Pick Harvey Kindle to San Antonio in return for Adrian Pitcher who was selected at 21st Overall. I must admit when I first saw this trade happen I can confidently say I was confused out my mind, but in the end it worked out for the Marshals. What seemed like a stupid move at first by management, trading for a player they could have selected but instead passed on as well as sending a strong cornerback in Danny Vranos packing to the Portland Pythons was a very non-sensicle move, but in recent weeks Kindle has become an extremely valuable asset to San Antonio while Pitcher continues to rot as an inactive on the Pythons roster. Some could argue that the bigger return was Vranos, but with Portland's defensive back core already being strong, the addition of Vranos has ended up being rather meaningless in the long run towards the Pythons success while Kindle has become the number two receiver on the Marshals roster. This trade was definitely a win for San Antonio.
