The off-season came and went as we went from juniors to seniors. Ahh the moment was finally here. We were seniors in high school. The big dogs in the school. Charlie Kelly and I were like God's walking in the hallway at the Princeton high school. Anyways, that off season was pretty laid back. We knew the play book like the back of our hands and we kept in very good shape for the start of the new season. Could you believe the way we started out our senior year season? We lost our first game. Are you ready to hear this score? We lost sixty four to zero. That's right you read that right, sixty four to zero. I to this day can't understand how we were so flat. I for some reason was only targeted ten times was covered very well and caught only five passes for thirty there yards. We had our heads in the dirt. Going from winning the state championship game to losing in a blow out game. Thankfully our next game we went out looking for blood. We all wanted to prove ourselves again. We played our hearts out that game. First quarter alone I had scored two touchdowns. That entire game I came away with five touchdowns. Count them five! I couldn't believe it after the game. I had one hundred and fifty nine receiving yards. That game finally gave me the game ball. We would win that game thirty five to fourteen. That's right, our defense even got better. Baby we were back in playoff mode and in only in the second game of the damn season. It felt good to be confident again in ourselves. During that game our running back tore his ACL and he was unfortunately done for the season. We would get a sophomore from the junior varsity team, running back Ronald McDonald. I know funny name but every one new him and referred to him as Mac. He was a bit weird. Loved to throw rocks at trains and always talked about karate. Anyways, as soon as we got him our run game increased a lot. He was such a good running back. For once we had a run game and a pass game. We would be unstoppable that season. It comes to absolutely no surprise we steam rolled some teams that year. By the three quarter mark we were eight and one. I had twenty touchdowns by then. I absolutely had crushed everything in my way that season. I'm going to break any assumptions that if you think we lost out… we did. No I'm just kidding. We didn't lose another game that entire year. We finished again at eleven and one. It's a little upsetting in my senior we couldn't go undefeated. But I guess I shouldn't be too greedy about it. After all I had a record setting season. I set records with touchdown receptions, and catches. I finished with thirty five touchdown catches. And three hundred receptions. Speaking of breaking records. My good friend, brother even, Charlie Kelly also broke records. He threw for forty five yards and went five hundred and sixty five yards out of six hundred and ten targets. It's safe to say we had one hell of a senior year. Everything panned out pretty much the way we wanted it to. But I haven't gotten to senior year playoffs yet. I will be talking about that mostly in a new diary. This page is running out and I am going to put my pen down and go to bed. Good night everyone. I will see you all in my new diary entry.
