The Career Stats Spreadsheet has been updated with S6 stats. You can view it by clicking this link.
These are some of the career milestones that were hit during S6 and some that we can watch for during S7:
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Passing[/div]
Mike Boss became the first QB to pass for over 25,000 yards, finishing S6 with 26,971 yards.
Tyler Oles became the only NSFL player in history to catch 15+ career interceptions and throw 15+ career interceptions.
No QB has thrown for 100 INTs but it’ll be a race to watch in S7 as Mike Boss has currently thrown for 97 INTs and Nicholas Pierno has thrown for 92.
Boss also only needs to throw for 20 TDs in S7 to become the first passer to reach 200 TDs thrown in their career.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Rushing[/div]
Boss Tweed was the first to break the 5000 rushing yard barrier last season, but Reg Mackworthy, Bubba Nuck, and Ardie Savea all joined him this season. Tweed still leads all rushers with 6,151 rushing yards.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Receiving[/div]
Two players eclipsed the 500 catch mark this season, they did so on the last game of the season, and just so happened to be on the same team. Josh Garden was the first to do it, but TE Paul DiMirio was right behind him. DiMirio ended up with a couple more grabs to close the game out and is currently leading all receivers with 503 catches. While Garden ended with 501.
In S7 everyone will be watching Bradley Westfield as he closes in on 10,000 receiving yards. It will likely come down to the last game of the season though, as the wideout needs 1,587 yards to break the 10,000 yard barrier.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Defense[/div]
Jaylon Lee and Jonathan Saint became the first NSFL players to reach 600 tackles. Lee closed S6 with a 652 career tackles, Saint finished with 627 career tackles.
Sabercats DT Dan Miller passed Jayce Tuck as the All-Time Sack Leader with 90 to Tuck’s 81. If Miller can have a repeat season, he could be the first to break 100 sacks by the halfway point of S7.
Despite a season where he only had 1 INT, Vikian Marmeladov became the first, and currently only, player to catch 25 interceptions, there are a handful of other DBs close behind.
Antonie Delacour of the Baltimore Hawks was the first player to defend 100 passes. He ended S6 with 104 career passes defended. Philippe Carter is close behind with 99.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Special Teams[/div]
Turk Turkleton became the first and only kicker to successfully make 10 50+ yard FGs in his career.
Philadelphia Liberty kicker Stephen Harris finished S6 as the only punter to land greater than 100 punts inside the 20 in their career (107).
The league’s most dangerous return man, Bradley Westfield, solidified his place in NSFL history by becoming the first punt returner to take 5 punt returns all the way to the end-zone.
