In the wake of the recent trade that saw Boss Tweed moving to Yellowknife, rumors have begun to stir around the future of Wraiths RB Eric Kennedy, who had functioned primarily as a receiver throughout his career until finally taking on the lead back role early into S6. Sources inside the camp noted off the record that, while Kennedy is well-liked by management, he has a reputation inside the organization as being a “great receiver, average rusher” and team coaches feel that the experiment last season proved that. Those close to Kennedy have indicated that his end goal has always been to be the team’s lead back and he came out of last season still holding onto a desire to stay in the RB1 role.
