First, shoutout to @Mavfatha for mentioning Showdown, Yu-Gi-Oh! and OOTP Perfect Team, because showdown was one of my favorite things as a kid and the latter two are things I love now haha (I just pulled a 98 Nolan Arenado and I'm goddamn hyped!! )
-------------------------------------------------- Rylant Wright was always a card collector as a child. He loved to watch all sports on TV, and play them as well, so naturally he loved another way to feel connected to sports, and that was card collecting. He had binders on top of binders on top of binders of cards of all sorts. With his OCD, he made sure that all the cards were ordered by team and then alphabetized within the binders. In order to make this possible, he always made sure that he had ample space, so that he didn't have to rearrange his binder to fit one card. He loved his cards, he still does. But now, an adult, just out of college, he doesn't have all his binders with him, they're safe at home. He does have two cards, though, which he keeps on his desk in his room. One is a Zack Wheeler 2015 card for the New York Mets. Wheeler is Wright's favorite player, and so he keeps it with him wherever he goes. The other is John Farrell, who many know as the old Red Sox manager, but was also a player for the Cleveland Indians back in the day. What's the significance, you may ask? The Farrell card was given to him by one of his campers who was moving to a different state at summer's end, and therefore wouldn't return to the camp which Rylant worked. That is why that card has meaning to him. Wright loves card collecting, and through the years, Wright feels that card collecting loves him right back, because of the joy he gets from doing so. (the two things are true, I'm sitting here at my desk and both cards are looking back at me!) [OPTION]Height: 6'1"

Most of my hobbies are on the more expensive side so I don’t participate in those a lot. I would say the one true collection I have would be video games. I have almost every system I’ve ever owned with the exception of my PlayStation 1 and my Sega Dreamcast. I am not sure what happened to my PlayStation to be honest but I know I threw my Dreamcast away once when I was moving and was pissed off. This still leaves me with my NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis with Sega CD, Nintendo 64, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox 1. I also have a Nintendo Wii but that doesn’t really count. At some point, I am hoping to get a game room set up but with my NSFL money drying up, that plan has been put on the back burner. I am actively looking to replace my PlayStation 1 so I can introduce my son to the original Twisted Metal and a few other gems that the PS1 had to offer. Other than that, I can’t say that I have any other collections of any sort. Damn, now that I’m reflecting, what the hell have I been doing?

Written: Must include 200 words. There are many collecting hobbies out there in the world. Whether it's coins, stamps, cars, or cards, there's plenty of things to collect. Sports Games are also embracing the card collecting habit, with more and more games having "Ultimate Teams" a game where you just collect many cards of players throughout the years. Write about any sort of collection you take part in.
Lavelle has made a collection of balls, no not upper balls like the McZ or lower balls like him either. More specifically, game balls. Game balls of qb's that he has intercepted. By this stage in his career (11th season) Lavelle has amassed 49 interceptions and hopes that tonight he can make it 50. I'll have to tally it up but I believe that I have intercepted at least every quarterback that has started for a minimum of three seasons in the NSFL. Realistically I might make a media piece on this and tally up who he's picked off the most/least and then what QB's he hasn't intercepted (within reason). Lavelle is no doubt nearing the end of his career, especially after this next wave of regression will hit him even harder. He only has a mere 1 interception right now but 16 pass deflections which leads the league, maybe he needs more stickum on those gloves of his to really haul them in and get back to the elite numbers for interceptions in a season. Lavelle is clearly feeling the effects of old age, now at a glaring 31 years old he sets his sights on dominating the CB game just a little while longer and attempting to make them records untouchable, despite the naysayers weak argument of "oh it was easier to get interceptions back then, the QB's were worse". WRONG. The CB buffs of S3/S4 had such a positive effect on CB ints and PD's that if you played before S3, you were actually at a disadvantage stats wise. Have a look at Lavelle's past seasons, when were his best? Exactly, after the buffs and never before, jabronis. Quote:Written: Must include 200 words. He can not pinpoint where this obsession started, but remembers from an early age being fasinated by the animals. On field trips to the zoo he would always instantly want to go to the long necked specked animals and not want to leave them alone after seeign them. Which brings us to a collection that Turk has been expanding through out the years. Anything giraffe related. Wether it be plushes, porselein figures, status, books about giraffes. You name it and Turk probably has something giraffe related. (besides an actual giraffe, because that would be crazy hahahaha... no futher questions.) He even has gone as far as making desgins for a fictional football team called the Baltimore Giraffes. Anything from jerseys to caps, beanies, calenders, mugs and any kind of team merchandise you could imagine. People might call it an unhealthy obsession, but for Turk it's more of a way of expressing himself and it bring him tons of enjoyment. He is planning on going on a safari tour with his family once this season has finished and will be on the look out for giraffes.
Well, L'Alto hasn't really been much of a collector of anything. He could write about his wife's growing collection of throw pillows in the home which he isn't too excited about or the collection of stupid Christmas ornaments from relatives that he now has to think about since Christmas is within a hundred day window. But more than anything, when it gets down to it, he is probably most proud of the collection of stamps on his passport. Of course, he didn't go and travel all around the world just to collect those stamps, but they're a result of his love for travel. Incidentally, he didn't really have a passport until he was claimed by the Tijuana Luchadores several years ago. Well, he did have one but it was lost and it was this snaffu that led to his missing the first 3 games for the Luchadores back in S6. Since that time though he has traveled to many places around Europe that he had only dreamed about: Rome, London, Barcelona, Paris. He even sparked an interest in traveling around the nearby Latino states of Panama, and Nicargua, but his favorite of all has to be Ecuador because of its very diverse nature.

Axel Hornbacher use to collect things like many other boys growing up. He use to collect cards for every sport: basketball, baseball, football, and even soccer! He would spend all of his lunch money growing up on these cards and collecting as many as possible. Hornbacher loved collecting NSFL cards when they were available through the official NSFL shop. He had quite a few cards from back in the day and even had special cards like the gold Vincent Draxel and Jameis Christ along with a silver Mike Boss. That was one of his favorite cards since Mike Boss was just entering his prime and competing with the Arizona Outlaws. The best card in his collection was the limited edition Carmel Gibson. This card was extra holographic and heavy for some reason and they only made a few during its run so that made it even more valuable for Axel to have in his collection. With how Gibson left the league, that shot the value of the card up by 300 percent minimum. Axel even loved having a Francis Lamoreux despite the controversy surrounding the printing of his card. He still keeps those cards to this day and hopes to one day to get his own.
