Kansas City Coyote Supawozi Wozerson has gone through yet another name change. The star running back who was drafted 13th overall in the past DSFL draft to the Coyotes as Daniel Walker changed his name to Supawozi Wozerson a little over 2 weeks after the draft. Reporters and teammates didn't think much of the name change until Wozerson showed up to Kansas' November 15th team practice. Wozerson walked through the locker room with a completely different look from the last the time the team saw him. Immediately, questions from everyone in the room surrounded Supawozi. The speed back didn't answer any of them, however he did announce that he changed his name and he wished to no longer be called Supawozi Wozerson. He announced that his new name is Aksel Danielsson. He then went to his spot in the room and got dressed for practice like every other Coyote did. Practice went one without a problem that day.
However the Kansas City media noticed the big change and sent many hard hitting questions to the running back after the practice. The running back didn't answer all but he did respond to a few. Here are some of his responses.
"This is the last time that my name will be changed. I am happy with my name change to Aksel Danielsson. I feel more at peace with myself and my parents."
"My dad was born in Sweden, changing my name to something Swedish helps me connect myself to my Swedish roots."
"As for my look change, I just dropped a couples pounds and changed my hair. That's all, it's not something that anyone should look into beyond that."
While Aksel avoided all the controversial problems, his agent JSS had no problems answering them. One question that stood out was that if he worries that his client's draft stock will fall, because of the name change.
"I'm not worried about Danielsson's stock falling, not at all. A team should drafting a player based on it's work ethnic. Every player in the league has their own problem or problems. My client's problems are just a bit more out there to the public."
While Danielsson is going through his identity crisis, he is still working strong towards his goal of becoming the best running back the NSFL has ever seen. The draft is coming soon and look for Aksel to be one of the top prospects of the draft.
