Stanislaw Maddox is currently taking any questions about Football and anything else. Ask away!
1. Footballs hasn't always been my number one sport! During my childhood I played Baseball, I made the switch to Football when I started Highschool because that was our premier sport and all my friends were joining the team too!
2.My passion for Football is all because of the thrill I get from competition and again, my friends! I never follow Football until I started to play and it was just an instant click, I loved it since Day 1 and not once have I stopped loving it! Football is for sure the best thing that could have happened to me.
3. My Alma mater of course! Go Bearcats!
4. I have! The poor play had me super frustrated and I had to stop watching.
5. The strongest hitter for sure. I can run laps around people but it doesn't mean anything, I can't take them down!
Not relation. But I hear he's the best TE out there! So he's for sure my offensive counter-part.
1) I like to personally think of myself and just me, and no one to compare too. But if there was someone that I admire as a CB, it'd be Asante Samuel. Watching him play was special and I for sure learned some thing just by watching him.
2)Not too difficult I hope. I have a pretty good brain running me, so I think I'd be able to pick up the play style quickly.
3)Confidence key, so I know for a fact I can cover any big #1s. As for how to adjust my play? Play Off-Man coverage, and if I'm forced to play press, just avoid the boxing.
4)Off-man is for sure where I excel at.
5)40 Yard Dash was a 4.49, Vertical Jump 39.4, and Cone Drill was a 4.32
1)This is one of the questions I was waiting for! To keep it simple, my father's heritage is Welsh and my mother migrated from Poland when she was 10. So when they married, she took the surname Maddox. But when I was born my stubborn Grandfather fought tooth and nail for me to have a cultural name, my parents eventually gave in. If I used my mothers maiden name I'd be Stanislaw Jagiellon. B)
2) I have not, I started off as a WR and made the switch during College.
3) My favorite part has to be shutting down #1 WRs and just seeing their frustration! It's even better if the guy is cocky.
4) I'd love to intercept the all-time great Joe Montana. But that's also partly because if I did get an intercept I beat Jerry Rice on a route!!
5) A good pass rush for sure. If the QBs is constantly being rushed and under pressure he starts to make poor choices with the ball, and that makes my job easier! Don't need good safeties to back me up if the QB is just throwing free interceptions!
1) Most talented WR? That's a really hard question, I've faced a lot of WRs and each of them were talented! But the toughest WRs for me to face were always my teamates, those guys gave it everything during practice and were the ones who helped me learn how to be a good CB.
2) Definitely being a good tackler. Sure, getting big hits is fun and all, but at the end of day if I let my opponent catch the ball, I've already screwed up and getting a solid tackle is the best way to make-up for my mistake.
3) Off-man coverage is what I do best.
4) That's not too strange of an idea. Personally, I'd rather stay playing corner, but if my team needed a strong safety, I'd be the first one to volunteer.
5)The pinnacle of my career was just this past season in college! I improved tremendously and moving into the NSFL can only help me get better! So yes, the momentum will carry!
1) Randy Moss. He was an absolute beast of a receiver and very few people could really cover him. I'd love to have my chance at, but only if it was after having a good year or two in the NSFL.
2) It's brand new! That's why I'm super interested! I'm new to it, and the it's new so I'm not walking into a huge clique with everything already established.
3) I wish there was a secret, that'd make for a better story.
4) No certain place I'm hoping to land. My goal is make everyone else want to come to the team that picks me!
5) Of course! Heck, I can see myself as the defensive player of the century.
No pressure at all to be honest. I'm just excited to be drafted and start playing for my new team. But once I'm drafted, that's where the pressure begins, need to earn my spot.
1) My friends wanted to go play Football, so I joined them
2) No.
3)Always.
4)Can't say I have a least favorite, all of the questions I understand and anwsered happily.
5)Uh...anywhere between first and last.
1) Josh Garden and Stormblessed are fast guys, so they could be terrible.
2) I do see myself as the number 1 CB prospect ya. But so does every other CB, I don't blame them. I'll get drafted when I get drafted, and then I'll prove I'm number 1 when the season begins.
3)The last round.

1. Who was the most talented WR you faced on your journey to this point in your career?
2. What is more important to you? Being a good tackler or being a big hitter?
3. What type of coverage suits you best?
4. You're a good sized corner, could you ever see yourself as a strong safety? Like a Malcolm Jenkins type of player?
5. What has been the pinnacle of your athletic career thus far? Will you carry that momentum into the NSFL?
Thanks for your time, Mr. Maddox. I look forward to seeing which team drafts you. Best of luck!
