Norfolk has had a good run as a city. The Seawolves have given everything they had to the community, but at the end of the day the team simply can't find ways to win. Be it a lack of talent, a lack of leadership, or a lack of luck, the Norfolk Seawolves have been down on their luck for years now. They've consistently been bottom of the barrel even in a conference with teams like Kansas City and Portland. The public has had enough. The owners have had enough. Its time that the Seawolves have moved on.
I have officially purchased the franchise and decided it needed a little face lift.
For that reason we've decided to move the Seawolves across the Atlantic Ocean to be our only representative in Europe.
In this partial rebranding, we've decided to move the Seawolves to a home that only makes sense for their name. They're heading to Hamburg Germany, known for having one of the largest submarine bases the world has ever seen.
The team will now be known as the Hamburg Seawolves.
A presser will be held later so we can find out what our new European fans think of this move for the NSFL.
(Subjected to Head Office approval and stadium deal negotiations)
