Hello all,
The moment you all have been hoping not to happen has come: The DSFL will be contracting back to 4 teams this upcoming season. It was something we did not wish to do, but with activity levels across the DSFL being how they were, HO figured it to be irresponsible to continue forward with 6 teams. We decided to take away the teams with the fewest amount of actives, and that will be the Kansas City Coyotes and the Norfolk Seawolves.
There are two important things to note with this. First of all, we (HO and the DSFL GMs) have decided that these contracted DSFL teams will retain the rights to all players taken away from then in the contraction draft. This way, if/when we bring them back, they will not be totally starting from scratch and will have a base on inactives to work with.
Second of all, as you might know, KCC and NOR are both in the same division. Even though I'd love to let the Pythons win easier, everyone else forced me to change division (/s). With San Antonio moving up north, this works out well for us. Our new divisions will be as follows:
SFC: Tijuana , Myrtle Beach , Kansas City
NFC: Portland , Minnesota , Norfolk
Sorry for the wait everyone, thank you
