In one of New Orleans Second Line losses, the loss to San Jose Sabercats, Brave Ulysses had only a single pancake. A Single Pancake. A . Single . Pancake. You know how hungry you must be after expecting breakfast and getting to eat only a single pancake. Like what is that about. Pancakes gotta be in 3's, 4's, even 6's or 7's, maybe even 8's or 9's or 10's but not a single pancake. Actually Brave Ulysses isn't too worried about that abysmal game against the San Jose Saber Cats because later in the season Ulysses and the New Orleans Second Line beat the San Jose Saber Cats 27-6 but wait, he only had a single pancake in that game too. This is crazy talk, what kindve defensive monsters play on the San Jose Saber Cats defensive line that resist being pancaked so much. This boy is hungry and needs some more pancakes but really the only thing that matters is that in the next matchup of New Orleans Second Line playing the San Jose Saber Cats in never because we dont play them in the regular season again, and they wont make the playoffs, is that we beat them no matter how many pancakes Ulysses gets.

Actually, it's quite the opposite. I expected pretty much nothing from this season. I have received: pretty much nothing. In focusing on just being the best Rose Jenkins she could be, Rosie turned around a bad start into a much more reasonable season. With a Week 2 that saw her throwing 2 interceptions and only 13 completions, things didn't look good. But to this point, she's recovered to matching her early season interceptions with recent TDs. While she could certainly be better, she's not stressing over it anymore, especially with the way the team is right now.
The Chicago Butchers are in last place. It really doesn't matter to me any more. I don't truly care any more. I do these PTs out of a sense of duty. I'm waiting to be told to retire. In universe, I'm sure Rosie still cares quite a lot about being good, but I think she also grasps the reality of the situation she's in. I don't think she's going to be winning any trophies. I'm not sure if she'll ever be on a winning team again. The rest of her career will probably carry out like a tragedy, because I'll refuse to leave Chicago at any point before my retirement. This is my home. I've made the choice to shackle myself to the franchise, even if I can't control most of what happens anymore. [OPTION]S32: CAR: 0 \ RUS: 0 \ RUT: 0 \ CAT: 35 \ REC: 582 \ RET: 3

Quote:"There is no such thing as a person who can call themselves truly not lonely. There are only those who choose to hide it." Quote:Written Option: Once the season starts, sky-high optimism very usually comes back to reality. Write about a disappointment from the first week of games. It can be a play, a loss, or your a poor statistical performance. Havran threw his water bottle against the wall and yelled out a huge 'FUCK". It was the moments after their week 3 match against the Wraiths which they lost 23-20. Havran went 21/35 and threw a TD and a pick. A disapointing loss which should have just been a win, but a last second touchdown by the wraiths gave them the win in the end. Havran was not too happy with his play in that game. Especially in the final period when he team needed an insurence mark the most, he just counting complete a few key passes. Throwing a pick is always the worst thing that can happen, so he had no chill about that happening either. Winning that game is the differnce between being 5-2 and 6-1 after week 7 and potential tie breakers against the Wraiths, but a home loss is some shit you just don't want to happen. Havran had a talk with the media after the game and came out with promises that the team would be better moving forward. It was a good game, but not winning it put a sour taste in everyone's mouths. So they would be looking for revenge and will be bringing their A game from here on out.
The Sabercats have had another disappointing start to the season and have now become 2-5 with a minimal realistic shot at finishing in 3rd place for the playoffs unless the team gets their act together. Although the team has been off to a disappointing start, Tyron Brackenridge has had the best statistical season of his young career so far with 60 tackles, which leads SS's and is third in DB's, 1 forced fumble, 1 sack, and 4 pass defenses to round out his year so far. The offense has been disappointing to start this season, which could be attributed to this being Wright's 2nd full season that still has some growing pains and the Sabercats top WR only having around 500 TPE. All of these struggles have not effected the locker room, which continues to operate positively and in search of good things to hang their hats on. The worst loss this season did have an impact on morale as the Sabercats lost 62-0 on opening night, which crushed any dreams of the team getting off to a hot start and snowballed into another 2 more losses to start the season 0-3. Lastly, although these moments may be negative one must remember that every team can't have a great season and to just continue plugging away until the fortunes change in your favour.
