Gearing up for the twenty second season of the NSFL I am looking forward to competing with the elite of the elite. Growing up I heard out of all high school football players only one percent of the entire nation make to play at the collegiate level. Then from the collegiate level another one percent of that get to either play in the NFL or the NSFL. I am very fortunate to think that in a couple of weeks I can soon be pro.
I was born in Seattle, grew up in Seattle so it only made sense for me to play college ball for the city that helped me become the athlete I am today. The time and the effort dedicated to the sport has finally paid off. College ball was such a fun ride especially with coach Peterson. There are many people an friends that I would like to thank but most importantly my family who has supported me wholeheartedly along this journey.
I honestly don’t know what to expect when the day comes and a team calls my name. At that point my dream becomes a reality and a new dream starts. Will I be able to become greater then elite and join the best of the best in the hall of fame? Only time will tell. All I can do is put in more work and work harder than anyone else in the league.
College ball in my opinion was so easy. Most of the linemen that tried to guard me unfortunately didn’t have the talent or the technique to be able to stop me. It was so easy to just bull rush in and use my natural speed and talent to get through. But this is the NSFL, where only the best are allowed to play and I am extremely excited to finally be able to compete and show case my skills at that elitist level.
