This is my kind of post cause you know Kacey Dream is Dreamin' of that Ultimus! The Orange County Otters are primed to retake their thrown and win their ninth Ultimus championship for many reasons. We have an absolute elite secondary that was completed with the addition of the one and only Prince Vegeta this past off-season. It is definitely the best secondary in the league, good luck trying to pass on us. Our front seven has also gotten significantly better with the addition of two young players on the defensive line in Bobby Boucher and Rapid Eagle. On the other side of the ball we have two time reigning MVP throwing the ball to two of the best wide receivers in the league and the ever reliable Johnny Blaze at tight end. I know the New Orleans is everyone's favorite to win it all but we've already proven that we can beat them, even at their house. Plus everyone knows the football gods hate them and love us so even if we don't get the first seed they will probably lose in the first round of the playoffs. There isn't really any other competition for us this season so once New Orleans falls on their face as usual we are bound for another championship. Maybe we'll actually play at home this season!

The Colorado Yeti went into the S21 draft (and season overall) nearly universally recognized as one of the most complete teams in the league on paper in terms of depth and team need. Because of that, they had the luxury of mostly drafting best player available. Fast forward several weeks and we are sitting at 6-5. We've lost some games that make sense: @NOLA, @BAL, and @OCO. Those are just hard games against the best teams. But we also lost two games that we really should have won, both against Philadelphia. So, our record doesn't reflect how good I think our team actually is. How's the playoff hunt looking right now? Well, Baltimore has probably the hardest schedule over the last two games with matches, albeit at home, against OCO and NOLA. On the other hand, Colorado, second in the division, has probably the easiest remaining schedule in the league with matches against Arizona and @SJS. Thus, the most likely result, I think most would agree even in worst case scenario, is that Baltimore walks away with a bye into the first round of the playoffs, and COL has to play into the second round. Who is this going to be against? YKW most likely. Good news for the Yeti is that they have beaten YKW both at home and on the road this season. This is good news for Colorado to make it into the division championship round at least. If COL can win out on the season and BAL drops one of their two remaining games, however, COL should be looking at a first round bye and then facing BAL in Denver, where COL has already beaten the Hawks this season. A Yeti appearance (and maybe a win??) in the Ultimus might be more likely than people think.
Code: 298 words I am a lifelong believer in the idea that defense wins championships. Now I am certainly biased, but I truly believe that New Orleans has the best defense in the entire league. During our historic 9-0 run to start the season, the Second Line defense allowed just 150 points, or 16.67 points per game. In our only two losses of the season, they allowed a total of 49 points, or 24.5 points per game. So, in the two games we lost, we allowed just one more touchdown on average. The Orange County Otters, who many would view as the second-best team in the league, only scored 17 points in their win against us (they only scored 17 points in their Week 5 loss against us, hinting that the defense was not the problem). If those games had been bigger blowouts, or we were losing more in general, maybe then I'd be worried. But with the team currently sitting at 9-2, with those two losses being by 3 and 4 points respectively, I still feel more than confident in this team's chances. And looking at the defense we're fielding this season, it's clear why we've been so dominant. We've got a great front four in Ironside, Tu'inukuafe, Arianlacher, and Faux. We've got two phenomenal linebackers in me and Slothface, both of whom are currently over 1000 TPE. And our secondary unit of Taylor, Andrews, Rector, Adams, and Blaylock has proven effective at shutting down the passing game, which is a real benefit in a pass-happy league like this one. I feel incredibly proud to be part of such a deep and talented defensive roster, and I'm fully confident that this is a championship caliber roster. (Also our offense is okay.)
I think austin will sneak into the ultimus this season. We may not be as dominate as last season and our record is a little more down then last seasons also but hey we are the same team that won the umtimus last season! We still got the same players that won us the ultimisbim the first place so dispute unlucky sim luck and a misfortune sim mess up with our 200lbs OL we will bounce back and make it cause we are austin the same team who went from expansion team to a champion team. We need to give out star running Mendonca the rock, we need to throw the rock to Tidwell one of the best receivers in the game and we need to let cole ball out. We builder our house already and nothing will break put house. Even if there was a tornado our house will stand tall! I'm basically saying we already got the pieces for a champion team. We have alot of dedicated actives and believe me we will bite our way to the ultimus even if our fangs break. Dermot will make plays, the Dline will continue stack up sacks and Mike and Honda will be the tackling beast on defense. On paper our team is going to continue to stay strong!
The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers are one of the top contenders for the Ultimini! I really do think that we have a shot at winning it. Everyone is training like crazy and putting the work. We had a bad game against Tijuana but that game against the Grey Ducks? A freaking Statement. We were at the top and we did fall to number two. No questions asked we will get back to the top, we will play the ultimini at our home place. We will take that trophy with us and after that it's celebration time. Of course it's not gonna be as easy as it sounds. We have to put in the work for it but we're already going strong in the gym and on the field. Shoutout to our GMs Frost and Cory - they're brains are at work and we're trying some new stuff. Seems promising so far! You should expect us in the playoffs. Our offense is fast and strong. Our defense is the wall everyone needs to overcome to score against us. Gameday soon. Actions show more than words and we got to step up and just give everything we've got and show the league that we mean it.

Why do I think Kansas City is going to win the championship this year? Have you even looked at us so far? Best offense and the best defense in the DSFL bar none, talent all throughout the team. Beginning with our offense, look no further than the #YeetSquad for all your offensive needs. Eddie Jeeta, Michael Witheblock, Tan Johnson, and Tree Gelbman make up the best group of wide outs this side of the Mississippi. At the quarterback position we have Chika Fujiwara, and despite her being an anime girl she has the vision of an eagle, the arm of Rex Grossman, and the accuracy of Tom Brady. Flip over to the defense and it’s just as dangerous, especially on that defensive line. Chip Otle, Phat Boi, Ismael Sanchez and Patrick Money, they’ve been consistently getting sacks and wrapping up running backs behind the line of scrimmage. The linebacking core is led by the wonderfully named Fawn DilMyBalls who has provided stability at a position that was a nightmare for Kansas City last year. Finally on the defense is the secondary, with the cornerbacks led by tackling machine Chester Sweets and the safeties core is anchored by, in my opinion the heart of the defense, Jon Bois the safety. He gets sacks, he breaks up passes, he intercepts passes, he does it all and without him this defense would struggle immensely. Kansas City also has the best kicker in the DSFL with Lefty Louis who has been perfect from all field goals this season and will remain that way guaranteed. So yeah Kansas City is winning it all, this roster is built perfectly from head to toe and we’re going to do some damage come playoff time.

Sup world! Mario VonPebbles here!
This Ultimis whatever can eat a bag of dicks! I’m in it for the loot. Let me get the rest of this bullshit season out of the way and get going on my NSFL career already. These bums can’t hold me down! This season has been fucked so far. Bunch of close Games so far. Everyone is talking about all the stupid ass calls these dumb ass DSFL officials are making. What do people expect!?! These clowns would be in the big time if they were any good. All these road losses are fucking with my head. Oh well. Everyone in the locker room is still hype to get in the playoffs and make some kind of epic playoff run. I’m like whatever! All I’m trying to do is go out there and crush skulls so these NSFL GM can see what’s up. They be drooling out there looking at my speed and strength and endurance! My skill set translates to NSFL way better than this bullshit league. As for the Ducks and next year, I’d say to focus more on drafting kick ass players like me. More Mario is always a good thing! The Dallas Birddogs certainly came a long way this season. They began the season with a 2-3 record and last place in the division. Then they picked themselves up from the rock bottom, picked up their pace and escalted the team as a legitimate playoff contender. And now the Birddogs are aiming for a playoff spot as they come off a 3 game win streak.
The reason behind the sudden rise of this Birddogs team is their strong defence. Even in the first few games, where the Birddogs lost by a big margin, the defence held their own against teams with higher TPE. And as the season progressed, the all- active rookie defence just got better and better, and generated numerous clutch plays. Especially the front 7 evolved into a fearsome group especially near the opponent’s endzone, generating most safties in the league. Behind them, the linebacker corps three top LB of the draft class has been a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks as they generated both sacks and interceptions. The offense is also evolving. Gone is the blundering, unsynchronized offense, replaced by a strong smashmouth offense featuring White Goodman and Kichwa Jones, two top RBs of this draft class. They also lessened the load for defence as they milked more time off the clock and scored more points. The Birddogs Locker room is fired up at the thought id being the first expansion team in DSFL history to go to the playoffs. Although they are considered underdogs like they always had been from the start, I have no doubt that they will put up a good fight and win the challenge. (271) |
