I'm going to rate and rank the NSFL and DSFL logos. I'll be ranking all logos together not each league separately. This will probably be the only article I do other than PTs because it's difficult and not as fun as graphics so check out my graphics as I'll be posting more of those.
1. New Orleans Second Line-This is really well done. Everything is very subtle and nothing takes away from any other part of the logo. I'm not a fan of the trumpets but the ribbon itself is great. I love the band and the football is a nice touch. The Fleur de Lis fits well and putting the NO on one side and the LA on the other makes it look much more symmetrical. This logo is awesome.
2. Arizona Outlaws-I love this logo. The color scheme is perfect. The city name is above the team name. The football is subtle and really well placed. The only parts I don't like are the use of white on the bandana and hat, and the eyes not having Irises.
3. Baltimore Hawks- Despite my dislike of Baltimore due to my being from Pittsburgh this is a cool logo. I'm not a fan of the red below the beak but the Hawk itself is really well done. The white beak with the yellow face makes it look even better than just yellow would.
4. Honolulu Hahaluas- I like the manta ray despite its weird mustache like part. The blue and yellow go well together and the flower is a nice touch. I'm not a big fan of the diamond pattern but the 3D circle really boosts this up.
5. Sarasota Sailfish-I love the Sailfish Logo. It reminds me of the old Marlins logo back when they won the world series with Dontrelle Willis. I'm not a big fan of the color scheme. I think the white and aqua would look better with a color other than that green. The other thing is that the blue lines look great on blue but on white, it just doesn't look right especially with the lines not going to the end of the white part like they do the blue.
6. Yellowknife Wraiths- The skull coming out of the shield is done really well. The black and white scale works for this logo. The only thing I would change is the eyes from blue to red. The only reason it isn't higher is because I'm biased towards bright-colored logos.
7. Chicago Butchers- The Blood on the cleaver is well done and I like the star on it as a reference to the flag of Chicago. I'm not a big fan of the blood on the name and I don't like it when the Team name is above the City name.
8. Minnesota Grey Ducks- I like the light blue that they use and the duck flying through the letters is really well done. Not sure what the weird claw coming out of its side is but it's weird. I don't like the space between the light blue letters and the white outline it would be better if the white outline was connected to the light blue lettering.
9. Philadelphia Liberty-There really isn't much to say about this logo. It's there. It's a liberty bell on a shield with stars and stripes. There's nothing really bad about it but there's nothing unique about it.
10. Norfolk Seawolves-I was gonna go on a big rant about it not being a seawolf until I learned that there's a submarine called a seawolf. I'm still disappointed because I was hoping to see a seawolf. It's not common knowledge so I imagine many people are as confused as I was. It's a nice logo but it's not a wolf in the sea.
11. Portland Pythons- The Python neck missing a part really bugs me but the color scheme is great and I love the trident. Not a fan of the shape of the shield but the color scheme really boosts this one.
12. San Jose Sabercats-The cuts into the sabertooth are a bit weird but I really like the SJ in the background. The head of the Sabercat is done well. I'd prefer white teeth but these teeth aren't horrible.
13. London Royals- I love the logo idea. The lion is the King of the jungle and they're the London Royals I really like it. The color scheme is great and the face isn't missing as much as many of the logos below it. I'm not a fan of parts of the logo stretching out to the circle and I don't like that the London is on the side as opposed to on top or bottom.
14. Dallas Birddogs-Not a lot there. It doesn't look hand-drawn like the Philadephia logo but there is some nice shading and it's a dog so it gets a boost.
15. Tijuana Luchadores-I don't like it when the team name is above the logo and I don't like that half the body is blacked out. I don't like the red white and green color scheme but I like the lettering on Luchadores and the lines on the sides of Tijuana.
16. Kansas City Coyotes- The shading saves a logo again. The upper teeth are off and it just doesn't look like as much effort was put into this one as into the Liberty one.
17. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers- The color scheme is nice and the skull is well done but a beard on a skull is weird not to mention whatever is coming out of his eye. This would be higher if it didn't gross me out.
18. Orange County Otters- The first thing I noticed was the orange color. It reminds me way too much of the Browns and that's a bad thing. It looks like its eyes are closed which I don't get. It would be better if the eye was white instead of black. Honestly, if it were any other color I would have it higher but the Browns-like orange just really bothers me.
19. Austin Copperheads- I really don't like this logo. I don't like the upside-down triangle I much prefer square or circle logos. Most of the Viper is missing from the Logo and that really bothers me. The fangs would be better if they were white. The detached mouth really grosses me out.
20. Colorado Yeti- I didn't think I'd find a logo I disliked more than Austin's but this logo has considerably less effort than every other logo I've seen so far. It's a black filled-in outline of a yeti over the Colorado Rockies NHL logo. Come on man put some work into it. At least Philadelphia shaded their logo and it looks hand-drawn.
