Well, when I first put my helmet on I never thought I would get here. It has been a rough road, but we made it. From time two a days in high school to the crushing defeats I have never lost hope. Though I will admit there were some point I was on the verge of giving up, my family and teammates pulled me up and pushed me ahead. Now I hope that I can push ahead for their sake. So I just want to take a moment to thank those that I would not be hear without. Coach Bo and the University of Central Michigan thank you. You gave a small town Michigan boy a shot and I could not be more thankful. Mom and Dad thanks for never giving up on me. And my wife, thank you for never letting me settle for something less than what we dreamed of.
I am pumped to be drafted by the Norkfolk Seawolves. Our pre-draft discussion were exciting and am I so happy I landed where I did. I am more than ready for this next chapter of my life and can not wait to get started with my new teammates. I really think we have a great shot this year and I am looking forward to learning from my coaches. I know this a whole different level that what I experienced in the MAC but I am excited for the challenge.
I think the biggest thing I can bring to the team is my instincts for the game. I sometimes will act without even thinking, while this can get me trouble I think this is one of the strongest attributes a safety can have. To be able to react instantly. My thought process has always been to hit hard and fast. I hope to bring that to the Seawolves and much more.

PS. I won't forget those who over looked me, I am about to Tom Brady this thing....
