Reflect on Eddie Jeeta’s career thus far. Hmm. Well entering the DSFL compared to the ISFL were incredibly different. I was new to the league and had just tuned in to the S21 NSFL Draft. I saw my mock PT get shredded from knowing nothing about the players that were being selected. I decided to start earning TPE and money every way I could and making myself really known in the discords. Then the S21 DSFL came along and I had no clue where I’d be taken. It was such a huge class and a lot of strong players. To my surprise I was selected 13th overall and was instantly placed into the WR1 role for the Coyotes. This had never happened to me before. Not in High School, not in college. WR1 was earned. So that was a lot of fun. Then the S22 NSFL Draft came along. I was max earning. Many had me placed as the top wide receiver in the draft and a potential 1st round selection. This did not happen. While I was the first WR taken in the draft, it wasn’t until the 3rd round. I enter a well established team in the Austin Copperheads. I slotted in behind WR1 Rod Tidwell and WR2 Net Gaines. My journey to WR1 had to be earned. I was almost a send down. But instead I spend 2 season at WR3 just continuing to train and prove myself. Barely amassing 600 yards in both seasons. This last season I stepped into the WR2 position and next season should see me enter the WR1 role.
