The first practice with the new team. After getting drafted 51st overall the rookie Damien Kroetch has shown up 10 mi Utes early for practice expecting and easy ride. Little did he know that thy would attach a parachute to him while they make him run back and forth on a field. He was straight out of breathe after 1 test run. They pushed him and they pushed him until he hit 10 back and firths full speed with a parachute on his back. They are straight up training his speed. His coaches and GM and especially Adam said if you are faster than the guy next to you then you will make it in this league. So here we are going back and forth with a parachute. Next drill run around pinecones the catch you have to beat the guy beside you until you win and switch with another guy off the bench. Good luck. Kroetch was like oh this will be easy!! Until they said he had to do it with a parachute in because it would be too easy. Took the whole bench until he fell over and just said. Let me be dang it! When it was finally said and done Kroetch had a 8 pack instead of a 6 pack. Yea that exists don't pretend like it doesn't.

Our focus today is on the rookie Marc Spector. This guy seems to have it all. He has been lining up in practice against premier wide receiver Bradley Westfield and he seems to not only be learning a lot but showing Westfield a thing or two as well. Spector does an amazing job covering man to man and has the athleticism to do more. In a post practice presser Westfield was asked to comment on his new teammate. This is what he had to say “When I run different routes and we setup in different formations he (Spector) is always there. Sometimes when you don't think he is around he just pops up like a ghost!” It is not known at this time whether he will be lining up against the left or right wide receivers or if he will play nickel, but one thing is for sure, he will make an impact as soon as the regular season begins and he won't stop until his career is over. This guy is only going to get better and it’s only a matter of time until the rest of the league sees it too. So for Petrakis, you have some fresh competition and for those lining up against him, you have your work cut out for you.

The Baltimore Hawks practices have been underway this week, and some hot shot rookies have been making their name known to the players and staff on the field. One rookie that has been turning heads has been Brokk Lee. Brokk has done a great job defending Scrub Kyubee on the offensive line, which is a welcome addition to Kyubee, that's for sure.
Another player who has been turning heads is Darnell Turner. During the scrimmages, Turner manages to pick off a few passes from star QB Kyubee, which Baltimore is hoping will translate to the regular season. Also, wide receiver Matthew Vincent has been connecting with Scrub Kyubee on more than a few occasions. They seem to have an eye for each other, and Vincent seems to understand what Kyubee wants to do with the ball on most plays. Not only Matthew Vincent, but John Baker has been pretty good at practice too, managing to make a few diving catches on hail marys by Scrub. Things are looking good in the scrimmages for Baltimore, and the team plus fans alike will all be hoping that it can carry over to the season. (07-23-2017, 01:23 AM)MattJames Wrote: ???????????? Easily my favorite rookie is Tim Pest. Not only is he a good buddy of mine, he is a player who was apart of our championship family. He is a great guy who is quiet, but gets done what he needs to do. So when he came to the first practice with rookies and second year players, I couldn't help but laugh at him going through all the rookie drills. I'm sure he got some valuable experience, but he was running around with a bunch of guys who hardly know how to play football, which was hilarious to watch. Tim always walks up to us veterans, like Tuck, Ernston, and Bronko, and says "damn these guys suck, let me chill with y'all." But if their class is really going to bond, we have to prove to him that he is just another one of the rookies. We love him, but seeing him out there obliterating other rookies is beautiful. When he goes up against Tuck, he no doubt meets good competition, but there is also a part of him that has to still be a rookie. Tim Pest is like a brother to me and the anchor of our offensive line, so seeing him even come out to practice just makes me happy. @`TimPest`

Rookie CA. Chess had a great first practice with the Outlaws. When he went out to the field, he was going against the number 1 defense from last year. His QB, King Bronko, was getting ready to play after his position switch from WR to QB. They both started the practice with a beautiful 60 yards bomb, that CA. Chess took to the house. The very next play, CA. Chess caught a 10 yard slant, and turned it into a 50 yard play. For the rest of the practice it looked like the 2 of them were vets, and had been playing with each other for years. The team still found a way to play with CA. Chess, telling him to run a route when they were running the ball. After he didnt block his man, the coach tore him open, with CA. Chess not even being able to explain himself. of course the coach knew about the joke and was just playing along. Even so, the Outlaws first practice with their new rookie looked promising. And with the vets hoping to go back to back, and the rooks hoping to win their first one, this season looks bright for the Outlaws.
