I'm old school. I don't like all this trash talk, it's just not me. So I quietly make a note whenever a loudmouth wideout says something like "the Hawks are trash" or suggests they can have it all their way when they line up opposite me. I'm not the type to be out in the media running my mouth. Mainly because we, the Hawks, didn't have a good season last year. Kinda hard to talk down to anyone when you were bottom of the conference. But, last season was last season. There are over a dozen new guys in the locker room here in Baltimore, and I'm not the same player I was last year either. Any of those top tier receivers we come up against, Garden, Stormblessed, Westfield, North ... even Damian West if he gets snaps for the Wraiths, I know what he's capable of. Any of those guys, I look forward to facing them all. Mainly because I'm hoping to shut them up for a little while. I didn't ask to leave Baltimore this offseason even though a few friends encouraged me to, and there's a reason for that. I want to be here when this team turns it all around. Then you'll hear me talking, maybe. But it still won't be trash.
