S25 Hall of Fame Ballot Results
As a quick summary, in order to be inducted into the Hall of Fame a player needs to be voted in by 2/3 of voters - if they receive 1/3 of the votes they will stay on the ballot for the next season.
As was passed in the S23 Rules Summit, we have formed a Hall of Fame Committee! I stepped down from the committee this past season, so the committee was made up of Ben, bwestfield, daybe, iamslm22, JuOSu, manicmav36, nunccoepi, PigSnout, and run_cmc!
With these nine, our requirements are 6 votes to be inducted and 3 votes to stay on the ballot.
- ISFL Player Hall of Fame -
Now, I'm pleased to introduce our newest members of the International Simulation Football League Hall of Fame! Welcome to the Hall of Fame:
Dan Schneider (@LGMForever), Lennox Garnett (@37thchamber)
and Kulture Fulture (@Saliva^)!
and Kulture Fulture (@Saliva^)!
Dan Schneider started his career in S11 as the 8th overall pick on the Baltimore Hawks, before being traded to the New Orleans Second Line during the S12 ISFL Draft. Coming off a breakout season, Schneider signed a blockbuster deal with the Orange County Otters in S13 and became a key cog in their defense. Schneider spent his last three seasons with the Chicago Butchers after being traded in S20. He finished his career with 3 Ultimus titles with the Otters (S17, S18, S19), 2x Defensive Back of the Year (S13, S17), and a 9x Pro Bowler. His ball-hawking ability allowed him to finish 7th all time in Interception Return Yardage and T-2nd all time in Defensive Touchdowns.
Lennox Garnett was drafted first overall in the S11 draft for the Liberty, and he lived up to the high expectations. Spending his whole career in Philadelphia, Garnett excelled both as a safety and returner, finishing as the S16 Returner of the Year and as a 8x Pro Bowler appearing at both positions. Garnett finished his career tied for most Kickoff Return Touchdowns in league history, 6th most Kickoff Return Yards, 4th all time in Interceptions, and 5th all time in Interception Return Yards.
Kulture Fulture was taken 24th overall in the S11 ISFL Draft along with Lennox Garnett to the Philadelphia Liberty. Fulture spent his first 5 seasons with the Liberty before being taken by the Chicago Butchers in the S16 Expansion Draft. He spent his next 5 seasons with the Butchers before being cut after a subpar S20 season, and then being picked up by Baltimore for his final season. While he had a poor first season, Fulture very quickly established himself as arguably the greatest kicker of all time, being the only kicker to average more than 5 seasons with over 90% extra point and field goal percentage. He has so many records and accolades that I'm just going to list them out because holy cow:
- 6x KotY (S13, S14, S15, S16, S17, S18)
- 3x PotY (S12, S15, S16)
- 8x Pro Bowler (S12, S13, S14, S15, S16, S17, S18, S19)
